Aliens 5 (picking up from "Aliens" they say not "Ressurection")
Prometheus 2
"If critics are dubious with the would-be outcome of the "Aliens 5," Neil Blomkamp already told in the recent months that he is taking all necessary steps to guarantee his "Aliens 5" would not share an identity with "Prometheus 2." Going back, the first installment of "Prometheus" in 2012 has been thought to be the prequel to the 1979 sci-fi thriller "Aliens." To amend that, Blomkamp revealed that he had to make a few adjustments to have his film out of way of "Prometheus."
Blomkamp has also told in the past few months that he is taking the upcoming sequel back to its original roots. He had also stated that the plot would take place immediately after the events of the James Cameron-directed "Aliens" film in 1986. In point of fact, he had expressed that his main focus in this new installment is the first two films: 1979's "Alien" and 1986's "Aliens."
So, when can fans expect the new sequel? Rumor has it that it's coming out a year after "Prometheus 2" is released. And that would be years from now as the Ridley Scott-directed film has just finished its script and will still shoot for God knows when."

"Previously, Cameron announced that instead of releasing the next sequel in 2016, it will be delayed to 2017. The main reason for the delay is that Cameron wanted to finish all the scripts for the next three sequels before they start film production. With this recent piece of news, it seems that Cameron and his team of writers have been working hard, enough to produce a script for a fifth sequel.
Based on Horner's revelation, however, the Slash Film report speculates that there is a lot more work to be done especially in squeezing in the elements of the fifth script into three films, in time for the start of production later this year."
