I'm a little slow but finally realized that the reason Comey will not end up facing a military tribunal is that once he decided to be a traitor, violate his oath and be a leading actor in the Coup, he took steps to protect himself. Much like Hillary's threat to "take half of DC with her", Comey likewise must "have it all" and on a dead man's switch, so when he's finally tossed in Gitmo, all the dirt he has will be sent to the NY Times.

There's literally no other reason for him, a modern Julius Rosenberg, to be a free man
