I see the pompous windbag, Comey, tried to inject himself into the Kavanaugh scene….

Opinion | James Comey: The F.B.I. Can Do This

Time to review who Comey is.

1.The single most important event in the Comey record is the immense miscalculation he made July 5, 2016:

ā€œStatement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Use of a Personal E-Mailā€
Statement by FBI Director James B. Comey on the Investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s Use of a Personal E-Mail System

2. Imagining himself at the pivotal moment of a Hollywood thriller, Comey proceeded to give a statement that, up to the very end, presaged the indictment of Hillary Clinton.

3. It was as though he thought ā€˜If I pretend I’m gonna indict Hillary, and then give her a boost, the (presumptive) President will owe me big time!!!’.

4. Of course, he misunderstood the malevolence of the Democrats. The Democrats never forgive or forget the slightest deviation from their march to power!

5. When Comey realized this….his only recourse was to try to kill the Trump presidency.

6. ā€œEveryone forgets this now, but the only reason we have a special counsel is that the FBI director spent much of the administration’s first year wildly hinting that Trump was under investigation. As a result, when Trump finally fired Comey, the President appeared to be firing the man investigating him!

Comey…intentionally misleading Congress and the public about that 'Trump investigation'…

7. Only after he was fired, and an independent counsel safely appointed, did Comey finally admit: Trump was never under investigation in the first place.

8. [Comey] knew Trump wasn’t under investigation, but Comey obstinately refused to tell the American people…..ā€ Coulter, ā€œResistance Is Futile,ā€ p. 94

A lot of good stabbing Trump in the back did Comey…..the Clintonistas still hate him.....and so do real Americans.

One can only hope.

9. Here’s the damage that Comey did to our system with his lie:

ā€œF.B.I. Is Investigating Trump’s Russia Ties, Comey Confirmsā€ F.B.I. Is Investigating Trump’s Russia Ties, Comey Confirms

ā€œComey’s Haunting News on Trump and Russiaā€ Opinion | Comey’s Haunting News on Trump and Russia

And the mentally feeble bought every suggestion…..just as they were expected to.

And the really slow-witted still stand behind the fabrication.

As is usually the case with a PolitcalChic thread, half truths mixed with total BS. How sad. Read the book if you are truly interested in the truth.

'The Destruction Of Hillary Clinton' page 145 The Destruction of Hillary Clinton by Susan Bordo

"Certainly she should have known not to send classified information. As I said, that's the definition of negligent. I think she was extremely careless. I think she was negligent. That I could establish. What we can't establish is that she acted with the necessary criminal intent.

But when Democrats took over the questioning, things got rockier for Comey. First, Elijah Cummings pressed Comey to restate, more explicitly, that only 3 of those 110 emails had any kind of markings on them at all which would have alerted the recipient to their classified status. Those three, moreover, were marked (mistakenly, as it later turned out) only "internally," with tiny letter symbols pertaining to specific sentences within the emails.

"Then, Congressman Matt Cartwright forced Comey to admit that the emails with the internal c's were not properly marked according to the State Department Manual, and that his previous comment that "any reasonable person" would have known the emails were classified was implausible, if not a out-and-out falsehood. To judge unheaded emails as classified was in fact a standard that was unreasonable to apply. To the contrary, it would be a "reasonable inference" that the three documents missing the header were not classified.
Holding the manual in his hand, Cartwright calmly got right to the point:

MATT CARTWRIGHT: You were asked about markings on a few documents, I have the manual here, marking national classified security information. And I don't think you were given a full chance to talk about those three documents with the little c's on them. Were they properly documented? Were they properly marked according to the manual?

JAMES COMEY: No.

MATT CARTWRIGHT: According to the manual, and I ask unanimous consent to enter this into the record, Mr. Chairman.
CHAIRMAN: Without objection so ordered. CARTWRIGHT: According to the manual, if you're going to classify something, there has to be a header on the document? Right?

COMEY: Correct.

CARTWRIGHT: Was there a header on the three documents that we've discussed today that had the little c in the text someplace?

COMEY: No. There were three e-mails, the c was in the body, in the text, but there was no header on the email or in the text.
CARTWRIGHT: SO if Secretary Clinton really were an expert about what's classified and what's not classified and we're following the manual, the absence of a header would tell her immediately that those three documents were not classified. Am I correct in that?

COMEY: That would be a reasonable inference.

Comey's admission exonerated Hillary not only from any "carelessness" or "negligence," but also from the charge of lying about "not sending or receiving any classified emails." It would have been entirely "reasonable" for her to conclude that the emails not appropriately marked were not classified exactly as she had been saying for months.

If you were watching the hearing it was a revelatory moment. But how many viewers caught the exchange? Audiences at my talks, when I ran video clips of Cummings's and Cartwright's questioning, were shocked and amazed. "

Drooling all over Hillary again......disgusting.

Now.....truth that you so carefully avoid:

1. As Hillary Clinton prepares to launch a bid for the White House, her use of the personal email account as her sole account while secretary of state has prompted both criticism from open government advocates and attacks from Republicans. The State Department said this week that she forwarded 55,000 pages of emails from the account to the agency in December in response to a request for any work-related emails she or prior secretaries of state sent or received on personal accounts.ā€ The mystery man behind Hillary's email controversy

Sooo? Anything wrong with what Hillary did?

You betcha’!!!!

2. Wanna see the State Department Foreign Affairs Manual?

ā€œSensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information is information that is not classified ... of confidentiality or otherwise harm foreign relations must be classified to be .... on the Internet, AIS users must not use an ā€œauto-forwardā€ function to send emails ... to preclude inadvertent transmission of SBU information prohibited on the Internet, AIS users must not use an ā€œauto-forwardā€ function to send emails to an address outside the Department’s network.ā€ 12 FAM 540 SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED<br> INFORMATION (SBU)

3. Bear in mind that none of the individuals Hillary used in setting up the illegal server was cleared to see classified or sensitive unclassified material. That would be Justin Cooper and Bryan Pagliano who were responsible for installation, operation, and maintenance.

ā€œThree witnesses ordered to testify Tuesday before a House committee investigating Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server asserted their constitutional rights against self-incrimination and did not appear or refused to answer questions.

Bryan Pagliano, the former State Department computer specialist tasked with setting up Clinton's server,…

Justin Cooper, a former White House aide to President Bill Clinton, …purchased the first server used by Hillary Clinton.

Cooper also told the FBI that he helped Hillary Clinton set up her mobile devices, according to Chaffetz, and "when she was finished with them he would break them in half or destroy them with a hammer."

Cooper, who now runs his own consulting firm, told the committee that he did not have a security clearance during the period he performed the IT work for Hillary Clinton.ā€ Three witnesses refuse to testify in hearing on Clinton’s e-mails

But, heck…..laws are just for the little people…..

4. ā€œWhy would Clinton want to keep all her communications as secretary of state on a private server? The obvious answer is often the correct one. With no emails on a government account, Clinton would be able to avoid complying with various requests filed by the media and the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

This explanation is reinforced by the conscious decision she and her staff made not to utilize an electronic program called SMART, which would have preserved her records for the government. ā€œ Greg Jarrett, ā€œThe Russia Hoaxā€

5. Perfectly good reasons for a crooked politician to use a camouflaged email server:

ā€œā€¦.obscure illicit behavior….

…to keep from public view any evidence that she and her husband used her position of power in government to enrich themselves…..as the conduit for hundreds of million of dollars that flowed from foreign sources at the same time Hillary appeared to have exerted influence on their behalf. At the same time, Bill pocked tens of millions for speaking engagements overseas, many of them connected to his wife’s work.ā€ Ibid.

You'd better take a day off to recover from this beating.

Comey may very well be indicted for signing the fake FISA warrants....it would be nice to see him in jail....

Comey thought he was untouchable. Our liberal friends like Schumer complained about the man's incompetence and corruption for many a moon, but it took Donald J Trump to have the courage to actually fire the All Powerful head of the FBI.

10. Here’s Trump firing the back-stabbing Comey:

MAY 9, 2017 Dear Director Comey: I have received the attached letters from the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States recommending your dismissal as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I have accepted their recommendation and you are hereby terminated and removed from office, effectiveimmediately. While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.ā€
Text: Trump letter to Comey

Get that??? ā€œ the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of the United States recommending your dismissalā€

And most significant: ā€œyou informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation,ā€

Let’s add this:

ā€œI have long believed that a President can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all,"
James Comey

Anyone have a beef????

11. Soooo…..Trump fires Comey….with all sorts of good reasons….and what comes next from the Left?

ā€œIn Trump’s Firing of James Comey, Echoes of Watergateā€ https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/09/us/politics/trump-fbi-investigation-nixon.html

For context: Difference between Watergate and the Obama Spying on Trump? Watergate was a failed attempt by a political party to spy on their political enemies.

Now, everyone knows that Watergate, and taking the scalp, Nixon, was the golden era for the Left/the Democrats….but there is no analogy here. There might be if Trump was under investigation, as Nixon was…..but he wasn’t.

The public didn’t know that, because Brutus…I mean Comey…wouldn’t admit it.

12. Hiding the truth, so that it appeared that Trump was under investigation, Comey proved what slime he is….
It wasn’t until June, 2017…

ā€œComey says President Trump wasn't under investigationā€
Comey says President Trump wasn't under investigation

At which point we learned what lying scum Comey is…..the personification of the Democrat Party.

I see the pompous windbag, Comey, tried to inject himself into the Kavanaugh scene….

Comey would introduce himself on a different way. And the best way to define who a person is is by looking at them in the eye if you dare and open your own soul.

:th_spinspin:

13. Now….my contention: that Comey wouldn’t publicly admit that he told Trump that he wasn’t being investigated…..

…if he is the liar that I contend…..why wouldn’t he simply lie in June 2017 and say he never told Trump that he wasn’t under investigation?

Here’s why:

ā€œTrump threatens Comey: Better hope there are no tapes

President Trump on Friday morning issued a cryptic threat to fired FBI Director James Comey amid a storm of media leaks contradicting the White House.

ā€œJames Comey better hope that there are no 'tapes' of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!ā€ Trump tweeted.ā€

The president also said Comey told him three times — twice over the phone and once at their dinner meeting — that he was not the subject of any FBI investigations.ā€ Trump threatens Comey: Better hope there are no tapes

Sure put the cork in Comey’s pie hole.
