This discussion is not based on facts that matter; period
Humans (animals/fish/birds\breath in 02 and exhale CO2

Just take one deep breath; breath out slowly, relax

Don’t try to fool us by using science while we discuss global warming.

Carbon dioxide hits a level not seen for 3 million years. Here's what that means for climate change — and humanity.

In the latest bit of bad news for a planet beset by climate change, the concentration of carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere has climbed to a level last seen more than 3 million years ago — before humans even appeared on the rocky ball we call home.

On Saturday, sensors at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii indicated that concentrations of the greenhouse gas — a byproduct of the burning of fossil fuels — had reached 415 parts per million (ppm), meaning that for every 1 million molecules of gas in the atmosphere, 415 were of carbon dioxide.

Carbon dioxide traps heat from the sun, and higher levels are associated with higher global temperatures and other effects of climate change, such as rising seas and unusual weather patterns.

When humans inevitably end our species the Earth will continue on. If the movement to try to save humanity doesn't seem that strong, ask yourself why humanity doesn't inspire much effort towards saving it.

“a byproduct of the burning of fossil fuels” is hogwash but I do concede that we need to get off of fossil fuels and onto renewable energy sooner rather than later.
If convincing people to switch to renewable's requires myths and pig farts then so be it. The end result is the same.

Same ol' dumb shit, different day. No, we were not at this level 800,000 years ago. You have to go back much further than that to see CO2 above 410 ppm.

Last time CO2 levels were this high, there were trees at the South Pole

The models they cite do not have the spatial or time resolution to verify or dismiss your claim. Your pulling this out of your ass as usual..

Unless those lies kill people to get us there... Shooting us in the back is BS..

Carbon dioxide traps heat from the sun, and higher levels are associated with higher global temperatures and other effects of climate change, such as rising seas and unusual weather patterns.

Plants breath in CO2 and exhale O2.
Animals breath in O2 and exhale CO2

Combustion engines exhale carbon monoxide,

Carbon monoxide is produced from the partial oxidation of carbon-containing compounds; it forms when there is not enough oxygen to produce carbon dioxide (CO2), such as when operating a stove or an internal combustion engine in an enclosed space. In the presence of oxygen, including atmospheric concentrations, carbon monoxide burns with a blue flame, producing carbon dioxide.[11] Coal gas, which was widely used before the 1960s for domestic lighting, cooking, and heating, had carbon monoxide as a significant fuel constituent. Some processes in modern technology, such as iron smelting, still produce carbon monoxide as a byproduct.[12] A large quantity of CO byproduct is formed during the oxidative processes for the production of chemicals.

Burning coal is the real killer :)-

I just discovered this bald faced lie:

"On Saturday, sensors at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii indicated that concentrations of the greenhouse gas — a byproduct of the burning of fossil fuels — had reached 415 parts per million (ppm), meaning that for every 1 million molecules of gas in the atmosphere, 415 were of carbon dioxide."

You say it is all from "fossil Fuels", when actually Nature emits about 97% of CO2 annually, humans the other 3% annually.

Why make such a STUPID lie?

You also make this stupid statement since it is impossible for CO2 to absorb heat since spectrally it can only absorb and emit Infrared Light.

"Carbon dioxide traps heat from the sun,.."

The dominant heating of the planet comes from the Sun and Ocean system, CO2 is a bit player in the process.

Since 1979, 0ver 95% of all warming in the atmosphere occurs during the EL-NINO phases. Since the Sun delivers over 99+% of energy into the Ocean waters, where "heat" rises out of the High density Ocean waters in periodic bursts that quickly warms up the LOW DENSITY atmosphere.CO2 has NOTHING to do with it, the SUN/Ocean relationship is the dominant cause of the warming.

Now that El-Nino is fading fast the last month, it has cooled almost .10C from June to July. I posted this below HERE to which no one has made a decent counter to my post:

"Here is his other blog post showing the UAH temperature data, that has a .09C COOLING from June:

UAH Global Temperature Update for July, 2019: +0.38 deg. C
August 1st, 2019 by Roy W. Spencer, Ph. D.

The Version 6.0 global average lower tropospheric temperature (LT) anomaly for July, 2019 was +0.38 deg. C, down from the June, 2019 value of +0.47 deg. C:

You need to drop the absurd CO2 bogeyman stupidity as it is a preventing you and other warmists from seeing the true picture.

How much published science would you like demonstrating that our effect on the total atmospheric CO2 is vanishingly small? I doubt that you can produce any that suggests that we are the main drivers of the increase that depend on anything other than failed models.

The global average atmospheric carbon dioxide in 2017 was 405.0 parts per million (ppm for short), with a range of uncertainty of plus or minus 0.1 ppm. Carbon dioxide levels today are higher than at any point in at least the past 800,000 years.

paleo_CO2_2017_620.gif

Atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations in parts per million (ppm) for the past 800,000 years, based on EPICA (ice core) data. The peaks and valleys in carbon dioxide levels track the coming and going of ice ages (low carbon dioxide) and warmer interglacials (higher levels). Throughout these cycles, atmospheric carbon dioxide was Never Higher than 300 ppm; in 2017, it reached 405.0 ppm (black dot).
NOAA Climate.gov, based on EPICA Dome C data (Lüthi, D., et al., 2008) provided by NOAA NCEI Paleoclimatology Program.

In fact, the last time the atmospheric CO2 amounts were this high was more than 3 million years ago, when temperature was 2°–3°C (3.6°–5.4°F) higher than during the pre-industrial era, and Sea Level was 15–25 meters (50–80 feet) higher than today....

Then of course, there's the IDIOTIC GIANT FALLACY that because nature did it before, man can't be doing it now.
Missing the whole point of the debate.
DUH!

I love it.. Tacking on an instrument record of yearly point plots to a record that has 250 year point plots to give the illusion of an emergency.

You are aware that our current rise has indeed happened before but due to its length (less than 150 years) can not be seen in the spatial resolution of the plot, dont you?

More Micheal Mann style fraud, deceptions and lies.. How about you average today's rise into the 250 year plot point and see what happens to your emergency. Miss Lindsay is using the same statisticians parlor trick Mann did and its outright deception.

These idiots are using proxies that have 250-500 year point plots that can not discern the shorter rises and falls of CO2 variance. They then scream emergency when they can not see these rises and falls because they can not be seen in the records they have due to the spatial resolution of the proxie. I love it when these people use the Michael Mann method of deceptions to try and scare people into giving up their freedoms..

I fully encourage the appearance of Palm Trees on the shores of Lake Superior.

Oh so how much of a temperature increase is caused by increasing CO2 from 280 to 400 PPM?
