CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service—Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

The guy who insists that this was a planned attack from inside our government is your source?

Nor does he refute a SINGLE point I've made about the weapon Crook was using, the distance to the target, the 6 to 8 shots, the shots being taken from a clean line of sight with a scope on a stationary target from less than 1/4 of the effective range of the rifle.

There's no reason an experienced shooter, firing prone with a scope with a clean line of sight, should have missed a kill shot on a stationary target in 6 to 8 shots from 135 yards away.

Either Thomas wasn't an experienced shooter, or he missed Trump on purpose.

You are in lala land. He gave up his life knowingly for a purposeful miss? No way...
I'll accept that he wasn't that good of a shot. Only thing that makes any kind of sense. What I will not accept is that it was possible for him to get there and get into position even with spectators screaming and pointing.

He'd have to be pretty bad. 135 yards with a clean line of site, prone firing with a scope is not that hard. And Thomas had 6 to 8 chances for a kill shot. Head or center of mass on a stationary target from less than 1/4 the effective range of the weapon?

Him being inexperienced would do it. But a member of a shooting club with that kind of hardware who doesn't know how to shoot? That's questionable.

CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service

Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

14 Jul 2024 ~~ By Mark Finkelstein

On CNN this morning, host Kasie Hunt described the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in blunt, truthful terms as:
"A massive failure by the Secret Service."
Moments later, when panelist Elliott Williams, in the context of a discussion of unverified information on social media, made mention of people floating the notion of an "inside job," Hunt shut him down, saying:
"We don't want to get into that."
Hunt might well have valid journalistic reasons for shutting down speculation about an inside job.
Although it was not as if the person who raised it, Elliott Williams, did so to lend credence to the notion. To the contrary, Williams, a CNN analyst, is a former Obama DoJ official. He mentioned "inside job" in the context of criticizing unverified information on social media.

Commentary:
After all the rallies indoors and out, that Trump has held over all these years, and with the massive number of people who have attended each and every one of them, that something like this should happen within a day of the Republican National Convention kicking off, is not a coincidence. There is no such thing as coincidences.
The fact that the FBI asked to use deadly physical force at Mar-a-lago had the chance arisen, speaks loudly here.
Democrat Neo-Marxists clearly have murder/assassination on their mind. It's their one last hope to get rid of the man once and for all. Two impeachments that failed to remove Trump, fake lawsuits, numerous fake criminal charges, prosecutions and persecution, now a failed assassination attempt. Yep probably all coincidences.
A massive failure is an understatement
Dear Lying Quisling Media, please explain why a roof top, with ladder access, less than 150 yards from the top 10 highest value targets in the world, had clear line of sight to both the stage and the egress route to the exit car, left unguarded and uncovered?
That is, at the very least, pure reckless incompetence verging on the criminal.
This was either gross incompetence or inside jobby Democrat Neo-Marxists. Pick one.
That is, unless someone can come up with a different plausible explanation.

I think it's obvious. More rallies is what should happen.

Of course, EVERYTHING that goes against Trump, MAGA or whatever, suddenly turns into this huge fucking conspiracy theory that everyone's out to get them.

Well the sniper who blew his brains out didn't miss. This kid absolutely knew he was going to die. At that point you don't decide to inflict a scratch.

The sniper that blew his brains out made a headshot in one shot from farther than Thomas missed in 6 to 8.

The shot is entirely possible from the effective range of those weapons. As is an intentional miss or a nick.

In fairness, the police sniper was far more experienced and a trained professional. So I'd hope he's a better shot that a 20 year old who's a member of a local shooting club.

I"m not saying Thomas intentionally missed. In fact, him being a terrible shot is far more likely. I'm saying that intentionally missing is definitely a possibility, and a nick at that range is entirely possible. Especially when the shooter was a conservative republican.

He was registered as one... doesn't in any way mean he was one. 20 years old....doesn't even know what conservative means let alone be one.

The CNN (Commie News Network) admits the facts. This isn't "Right Wing" media telling us this information.
Are you claiming that CNN is creating conspiracy theories now?
:laughing0301:

He was registered as one... doesn't in any way mean he was one. 20 years old....doesn't even know what conservative means let alone be one.

Folks that knew him from highschool said he was definitely conservative. And he was a registered republican.

A conservative republican shooting at Trump at all makes no sense. A conservative republican who is a member of a local shooting club firing a long rifle from a prone position with a clear line of sight at less than 1/4 the effective range of his weapon and missing a kill shot on a stationary target 6 to 8 times in a row?

Also makes no sense.

So is the site of this rally going to become a sort of conspiracy theorist tourist spot now, like the grassy knoll in Dallas?

It's literally in the article that was posted.

So what’s your explanation?

He was chipped and mindcontrolled?

A body double? Clone?

The kid was a crazy shut-in with a gun. Suicide by cop. Live on in infamy as the assassin of a former POTUS. Everyone’s trying to find a political motive when it seems he was just another loser incel-type

There's no reason an experienced shooter would miss a kill shot from 135 yards (less than a quarter the effective range of the weapon used), fired with a scope from prone position with a clean line of sight on a stationary target.......in 6 to 8 attempts.

So, my explanation is one of two things. Either Thomas wasn't an experienced shooter. Or he missed on purpose. With the former being simpler and far more likely.

As for the motivations, dunno. There's no enough evidence. Notoriety maybe? We know his name. We're talking about him.

You didn't see the you tube video where he said...." I hate Trump and I hate Republicans" ??

All of his choices made perfect sense. There is one thing that DOES NOT MAKE SENSE...
how he got into position...
THATS WHAT MAKES NO SENSE.

You didn't see the you tube video where he said...." I hate Trump and I hate Republicans" ??

Oh, I saw the grainy video that Alex Jones SAID was Thomas Matthew Crook backed by jackshit.

But that was a video Arizona State University back in 2020, when Trump was still president. And Thomas was in high school in Pennsylvania on the other side of the country.

Purposefully shooting him just enough to graze his ear would be a pretty miraculous shot.

And you right, that the 20 year old with zero military or law enforcement experience, just a membership to a shooting range, being an inexperienced shooter IS the simplest explanation for why he missed.

And the simple explanations are usually the right ones

So? The message was not subtle....
