CNN RBF Hostess Explains how the Anchor Baby System Works. Tom Homan: Not on My Watch.

So someone can murder someone as long as you do not like the person murdered and they should face no consequences.
Someone can pay no taxes as long as they drop their prices so you can pay less.
A company can create toxic waste and dump it in a nearby ditch as long as they keep their prices low.
Murder....always wrong.
Are you making stuff up again?

Regulations on toxic waste......please, that's a (R) thing of wanting less regulations thus allowing more illegal dumping. Nice try.

Why not simply require welfare dolees to do farm work? We're already paying them, so why not get some work out of it?

Farmers can pay the government for their labor, thus reducing the burdon on taxpayers.

No I am showing you that you do not get to pick and choose which laws you agree to follow and which you can just toss aside.
Anyone with half a mind could have easily understood that.
So why don’t you give us examples of what laws you feel you can just disregard?
Maybe we can all find one we can agree on.

Driving Infractions:

Many conditions influence whether a LEO will ticket Person A or Person B for committing the exact same infraction.

Misdemeanors:

A Judge will routinely rule differently on two exact same crimes committed by two different people.

I can not agree with either of those.
Laws should always be followed. No one should get a pass on any law. If you are driving not following the law then you should be ticketed. If the law enforcement does not do that then they are not doing their job. Failure to do a job correctly does not mean that the law should not be followed.
Judges have latitude when it comes to sentences. If they give one person a harsher sentence it could be because the person has a history of actively disobeying the law, it could be that they do not see any remorse from the person or a number of any other reasons. It could be that they are having a bad day.
Again it does not mean that any law should be abandoned just because you feel that it might cost you a few extra dollars.
Laws were enacted because it was seen as being harmful to society, the economy, or the members of that society. They were not just chosen out of a hat.

I never said that laws shouldn't be followed in the driving scenario, I simply stated that LEO's routinely are inconsistent. <<<<< this is a Fact.

No one should get a pass on any law. <<<<< this a NOT followed by either Political party. Shamefully.

I asked you to list those laws you felt should be ignored. I assumed that you understood what I wrote and therefore wrote that you felt that driving laws should not be enforced.
As I stated the fact that not every law is properly enforced is not an indication that the law should be abandoned.

I have to disagree with both of you posters.

Yes, LEO's are inconsistent, but so is the chief law enforcement officer of the land, the President. Joseph Biden spent three and a half years of his term in office avoiding enforcing immigration law, and then for the six months leading up to the election, made it an enforcement priority.

Our federal agencies are inconsistent in their enforcement of laws. Partly because they have to be, our laws being such a tangled mass of gobbletygook that understanding them all is impossible, much less enforcig them. Yet, they pass "laws" called regulations even without an act of Congress and then enforce even those selectively.

Trump will enforce immigration law better than Biden did on average, more like how he has been enforcing it for the last six months but for Trump's entire second term. Homan, as a law enforcement officer, will concentrate on deporting those doing the most harm to the nation, so any supposed fears of mass deportations of farm workers leaving crops unpicked are fanciful and silly.

Cops on the street ignore some infractions of law and enforce other, and often even enforce non-existent laws, as we see from the first amendment audit vids we discurssed on another thread.

The only way to have law enforcement "enforce all laws" would be so greatly simply all the criminal and civil codes and to beef up law enforcement agencies so that they do not have to be selective due to restraints on resources.

This is both CNN and Homan playing to the lowest common denominator.
OK. Third and last time. Read slowly. How is Homan's answer that he will not deport US citizens, "playing to the lowest common denominator."

He's acting like it's not been common in the past. He isn't going to do anything those before him didn't do.

OK You must be watching a different video. He's not "acting like it's not been common in the past." He seems a bit quite taken aback that the CNN airhead would ask such a monumentally stupid question.

First off I am not a big believer in more government is better.
I am not into the idea of having a cop standing on every corner. It creates a larger tax burden and creates the big brother is watching, old Russian KGB idea. It also does nothing to solve the general idea that someone can decide they do not want or need to follow the law since it causes them to spend a few more dollars or a few more minutes.
Second I think that judges and police should have discretion in how the law is applied. Let’s look at this example for instance. A man is driving and hit a a person. An observer states the man tried to stop, tried to swerve to miss the person. When he exited the car he was in distress and you could see the remorse on his face. Now we have a second man who also hit a person. An observer states the man sped up, swerved to hit the person. When he exited the car he was grinning and laughing.
Do you think both men should be treated the same? I do not.
As far as Biden and Trump. I do not believe that Trump will deport every illegal. I do believe that those that are convicted of gang activity or other criminal acts will be. Even if a prosecutor allows them to walk freely. Other then that no others will be removed. Hopefully at some point, be it in the near future or later we will make it extremely difficult, if not impossible for someone to hire illegals. Cities and states will also have to stop spending money to house, feed and clothe them. Then they will have no choice but to return.

Our greed is too strong so we will never actually address the employer issue.

You might be right. But at some point I hope you are wrong.
As I have stated it is modern day slavery

Most of these farm workers are more productive for our society than a few posters on this site.
These illegals actually work and deliver food to other Americans.
Some posters here hack away for 12 hours daily, and collect a disability check.
What are your thoughts on that ^^^^ ?

Yes, I can get past the FACT that some are here illegally, but also they contribute to our society. What the FUCK is the problem?
We NEED these workers, because lazy American Citizens collecting Welfare certainly won't be taking those jobs.
Very few illegals are farm workers anymore. Illegals cost society far more than they contribute. Illegals have displaced Americans from most low-skilled jobs.

Which jobs?

Everything from fast food, to warehousing to general labor. Plus many of the skilled trades like drywall and masonry.
If YOU or a Friend was unemployed, could you get a job, tomorrow, in fast food, warehousing or general labor, or drywall or masonry?

Of course you could.

Don't pretend that "Illegals" are taking away jobs from current citizens, because THOSE jobs are STILL available to the unemployed US citizen.
