Article: Democrat on Las Vegas shooting massacre: 'Time for Congress to get off its a-- and do something'

"Following the shooting, some top Democrats — often proponents of tighter restrictions on guns — urged the Republican-controlled Congress to take action to prevent similar mass shootings.

"This must stop. It is positively infuriating that my colleagues in Congress are so afraid of the gun industry that they pretend there aren't public policy responses to this epidemic," said Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., in a statement. "There are, and the thoughts and prayers of politicians are cruelly hollow if they are paired with continued legislative indifference. It's time for Congress to get off its a-- and do something.
"

Well it certainly didn't take long for the buzzards-D to form up and start picking the corpses clean of any politically advantageous morsels they could get their bloody beaks on.

One wonders why the Democrats didn't pass any of this gun control legislation back when they had a lock on Congress in 2009, guess there wasn't any political advantage in it for 'em then.

Well the guy did have an automatic weapon . And this was gun free Nevada . What happened to more guns more safety ?

And it certainly didn't take long for people like you to cry foul when Democrats try to put the issue front and center that at the very least caused the high fatality rate. I wonder why Republicans never have a problem politicizing a shooting when Muslims are involved?

Or alternatively they didn't have the votes on gun law reform. Seems like a reasonable assumption after last weeks health care debacle I would think.

Fucking idiots.

How many laws did the mother fucker already break?

Why do they suppose none of THOSE laws were able to stop him?

well I will say only one thing, where the fk were the metal detectors at the high rise hotel?

Well the guy did have an automatic weapon . And this was gun free Nevada . What happened to more guns more safety ?

Must be the same phenomenon that has so deeply affected the gun control nutland otherwise known as CHICAGO.

Apparently lawbreakers in both locals share the same disregard for the law, which of course the buzzards feel can be resolved by passing more laws.

And they continue to ignore the far bigger problem of killing by car.
Every DAY 100 americans are killed on our highways by the pedalphiles and textdrivers and other highway crazies.
We could save 5,000 lives a year by simply lowering speed limits back to 55 . But liberals say no way.

the courts found for the citizens on the chicago gun laws. One has the right to protect oneself.

What happened?well people bought that statement when it was made just like they buy it when they are told banning civilians from owning guns is the answer. Deep down everyone knows it's stupid but they like the attention they get when hey are outraged over the atrocity of the week. Honestly, it's a stupid question posed by attention whores. The real question is, what compelled this guy to do intricately plan this out. His position was as good as it would ever get. The victims were getting hit before they even heard the report. And the automatic weapons, you do not just buy them. Well you do, but it's very complicated. Laws would not have prevented this. And aside from being in the room with the guy or an air strike, no gun in that crowed save one in the hands of a trained sniper would have been any good.

Fine . Does that include an automatic weapon ?

So illinios has a law that you must not drive with a phone in your hand. I was on the road about two weeks ago and a guy driving with his phone on his ear, cop drives next to him, I tell the wife, there's a guy going down for illegal use of his phone, and the cop drove right on by. huh? why have laws if the cops ain't gonna enforce em?

Wow, shocked that the communists would take advantage of this.

Oh isn't this their play book?
