My only worry with this war is that while the USA has spent billions on super expensive high tech weapons for fighting conventional war with common enemies, the Iranian government has built a low tech military based on sheer volume.

The Iranian military strategy is to swarm the enemy like a nest of bees and simply sting us to death whereas, our military is designed to kill a 30 foot tall spider.

Iran probably has bombs and missiles and stuff hidden on every street, in every basement, designed to be brought out and fired from one location, then move on elsewhere.

These people live for war. Their entire society, culture and economy is built on war. My worry is that these people will simply fight to the death beyond all hope resulting in the need to go in there street by street, building by building pounding away until every last member of the Iranian Guard is killed dead.

Of course. This operation is like no other since WWII. There are no politicians. This is Trump's war, and he owns it. Therefore, let the chips fall where they may. A). Those are not cluster bombs in the video. You've swallowed more internet propaganda.

B). We invented cluster bombs. We know all there is to know about them and yes they can be stopped by hitting them before they deploy. Further, cluster bombs merely deploy a lower yield across a wider area, so even if not stopped, the damage to any given area is limited.
