Since they can't compete with them, libs want to silence conservative talk radio. Up until now, the left has denied this - now they ahve put it in writing

In a report that came out yesterday they outlined how they want the government to monitor what is said on the airwaves

Some of their demands include:

Restore local and national caps on the ownership of commercial radio stations.

Ensure greater local accountability over radio licensing.

Require commercial owners who fail to abide by enforceable public interest obligations to pay a fee to support public broadcasting.

Clinton and Boxer Discuss ‘Legislative Fix’ to 'Influence' Conservative Talk Radio

Coming coincident with the Thursday release of the Center for American Progress’s plans to assault conservative talk radio, Senators Hillary Clinton (D-New York) and Barbara Boxer (D-California) were overheard discussing the need for a “legislative fix” to the problem.

This information was relayed to radio host John Zeigler of KFI 640 AM Los Angeles by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Oklahoma) who witnessed the Senators talking about something that they heard on talk radio which upset them so that they said:

We’ve got to do something about this. These are nothing but far rightwing extremists. We’ve got to have a balance. There’s got to be a legislative fix to this.

Instead of having the government monitor poltiical speech how about this:

Since liberal radio can't seem to get it together and keep sponsors, I'm extending the olive branch here and helping you guys build a list of potential advertisers that Air America and other left-leaning radio stations could pursue.

1. Stores that accept food stamps
2. Tattoo and Piercing Shops
3. Denny's (when you're stoned at 2:00 AM and have the muchies, where ya gonna go?)
4. Head shops.
5. Coffee shops. Because hey, you're not working, why not hang out at a coffee shop all day?
6. Abortion clinics that accept Medicaid.
7. Anti-depressants
8. Psychologists
9. Drug rehab facilities
10. Birkenstocks

Anyone have any more suggestions? Come on guys, lets help our liberal buddies and make a big list!

Libs use the first ammendment to protect outfits like NAMBLA but they want to silence talk radio, the worlds biggest chat room where folks can express their views - real free speech. They whine about some terrorist locked up without trial being unconstitutional all the while trying to rip apart the first and second ammendments.
