The Iraq occupation went FUBAR long before Obama got there. All Obama did was refuse to throw more American lives and treasure at Bush's folly... which is kind of what people voted for in 2008. If people wanted the war to continue and the body bags to flow, we'd have voted for McCain/Caribou Barbie.
