Sure wish they would make up their minds. First, the planet's going to overheat, now it's going to be and upcoming ice age.
We humans have been on this planet for just a million years or so and thus we've been here in the blink of an eye on a planetary scale, so we don't have all the answers on what "exactly" has been going on since life first appeared here. We just have guesses based on deep ice samples, soil samples, paleontology and studies of eras like the Permian period. It's anybody's guess as to what we will face over the next thousand or so years.

I actually went to the link and read that they are basing their predictions on the Greenland ice sheet and suggested it is losing it's ice. However, a simple search of the Greenland Ice Sheet says:

"The Greenland Ice Sheet lost 55 ± 35 Gt of mass in 2024, the lowest annual ice loss since 2013. This occurred due to above-average snowfall and below-average melting and despite higher glacier flow rates than the 1991-2020 average"

I enjoyed one line in that movie very much:

Global warming had led to supermassive cold such as sea ce and snow in India and Japan and the hurricane of extreme cold which made helicopters in the eye of the storm fall from the sky because extreme freezing froze gas lines.

All explained away with the line of pseudo science: “the paradoxical effects” of global warming.

That’s when I finally understood that, in the hive mind of the AGW zealots, there is no such thing as scientific evidence which could EVER “refute” their pre-determined conclusion. They simply don’t give a damn about the scientific principle which includes the position that a theory HAS to be subject to falsification.

Instead, regardless of what the measurements are (real or modeled) and no matter what things we observe in the real world, nothing has the power to falsify their theory about AGW.

Where no possible evidence can ever contradict a claim, then the claim is not scientific.

It's called government grants for 'climate' research. No presumed climate catastrophe , no more funding. No more government bureaus overseeing and charging for 'climate research' or environmental regulations which must be overseen by people government educated and paid well. Hell, they haven't even built back the Palisades after that horrendous fire because of environmental permit regulations.

Ice loss? How do they measure that. nobody can tell us but they believe. Ask them and they reply, " satellites." Ask what that means and the reply is the Google search answer that took them to wikipedia
