We are still in an ice age. And will most likely continue to be in one for another 2-3 million years (some say 5-8+ million years).
We are simply in an extremely long and unusually cold interglacial, and in all previous interglacials in the geological record things should already be significantly warmer than they are now.
And eventually things will reverse, and we will start yet another glacial cycle. When that happens, say goodbye to all of Canada and half of Europe. And good luck feeding humans with less rainfall and significantly colder temperatures.
Maybe we will resort to Soylent Green when that happens.
