He's right to be afraid of his own voters and supporters. Schumer himself has threatened violence against two Supreme Court justices, he knows all too well what his party is capable of.

There's not enough popcorn for what's coming...   :popcorn::popcorn:

In case you were wondering what the accurate and current state of the Democrat Party looks like. Note that Schumer's book is about antisemitism in America; ironically, he's afraid of his own people, not the evil so-called 'fascists' on the Right.

There is no room for independent thought in the democrat party.
There is only the party line, and they had better tow it.

Good. Schumer is just another out of touch democrat.

He better not take up fishing.

.

I love seeing scared left cultists.

Schumer's big mistake was first announcing that the Dems would filibuster and then realizing that a government shutdown would be blamed on them and give Trump even more power. On the other hand, he is already on his way out.

The dems have a dilemma.

IF Trump is self destructing, they have to not get in his way.

IF Trump is NOT self destructing - and IF his tariffs on workers and farmers will somehow help those folks, tax cuts predominantly helping the 1% are a great idea for all of us, and Trump has no intention of ending middle class entitlements despite deficits - I'd say the Dems are fucked even if they take their heads out of Crocket and Aoc's assholes.

But imo letting the gop have time to enact their agenda will be about as popular and effective as .... the progs were.

How many people will the Left try to Luigi

Reminds me of this scene in the movie witness.

The amusing part is he is wrong about both sides of the entire issue.

The CR was just an extension of spending he voted for back in September. This crazy talk of GOP Partisan CR is pretty reckless on his part.

In addition, a government shutdown isn't as extreme as he wants to make it out to be. The Presdient always gets to determine what will be shut down and what will remain open as 'essential'.

Or Schumer, the clown, understands that 98% of Government is not essential and we really only need SS & DoD to function.
