If I really had to speculate, other than some possible medical issue I hope is not the case, I'd say CC is just taking a long vacation away from this place as some place just not worth her time spending time at when it's not the holiday season just to stay away from all of the idiots and a-holes like the one making your comment above, as a way of keeping her sanity in pursuing a good, christian life by not having to constantly deal with all of their unending lies and contorted evil here.
Or to just put it more simply, wherever the Far Left go, they ruin everything, for they are the black rot in the tomato of life.
