When they built the Varrazano bridge the people of Staten Island said it was the worst thing that ever happened to them. When they built Route 80 from NY to Pa. the people of Pa. said that was the worst thing that ever happened. So I can imagine how a prosperous free area like Hong Kong feels about getting easily linked to their dog eating communist mainland cousins. Red China blows. They're a cancer on the whole world.

They and other nations do the big projects and build them as fast an safe as possible. We could build skyscrapers in short periods of time. How long did it take us to build the replacement for the Twin Towers? Diversity and extremisms in our social justice policies have caused a decline and a malaise in our visionary ideas.
