You know if China is upset that it's a great deal for America. China has been the single biggest reason America is suffering in regards to lost jobs and debt, and they get a free pass by all media, it is astonishing.

China likes to arms North Korea and prop them up, time for America to arm Taiwan and tell the Commies to stuff it. No state government, socialist or communists understands honest diplomacy. They only understand strength and action. I hope the U.S sells another $25B. Let China really stew on that as they steal American jobs and try to quietly become the world leader.

China strongly opposes U.S. arms sales of $1.4 billion to Taiwan

BEIJING — China on Friday strongly protested a U.S. plan to sell $1.4 billion worth of arms to Taiwan and demanded that the deal be cancelled.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang said the sale would severely damage China’s sovereignty and security interests and run counter to Washington’s commitment to a “one-China” policy.

He asked the U.S. to immediately stop the sale to avoid harming relations with Beijing.

“We stress that nobody could sway our determination to uphold our territorial integrity and sovereignty,” Lu said at a regular daily briefing. “We oppose any external interference in our internal affairs.”

The U.S. State Department approved the arms sale on Thursday, the first such deal with Taiwan since President Donald Trump took office.

The sale was broadly welcomed on Taiwan as a show of U.S. support, despite concerns about the strain on finances and Beijing’s angry response. Taiwan’s defence department said the sale would enhance the island’s self-defence capability.

China considers Taiwan to be part of its territory and has long opposed any arms sales to the self-governing island by foreign entities. It insists on eventual reunification, through force if necessary.

The U.S. State Department’s approval of the sale — the first since December 2015– follows a tense year between China and Taiwan.

A well armed Taiwan is the best thing we can do to avoid war with China.

Keep in mind that we arm countries that eventually will use the arms against us.
Case in point:
Back in 1994, President Clinton prepared to confront North Korea over CIA reports it had built nuclear warheads and its subsequent threats to engulf Japan and South Korea in “a sea of fire.”

Enter self-appointed peacemaker Carter, who scurried off to Pyongyang and negotiated a sellout deal that gave North Korea two new reactors and $5 billion in aid in return for a promise to quit seeking nukes.

Clinton embraced this appeasement as achieving “an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula” — with compliance verified by international inspectors. Carter wound up winning the Nobel Peace Prize for his dubious efforts.

But in 2002, the North Koreans ’fessed up: They’d begun violating the accord on Day One. Four years later, Pyongyang detonated its first nuke.

Arms sale to Taiwan is just a subtle hint to China that they
need to work harder on North Korea
