China's permanent representative to the United Nations criticizes U.S veto of Palestinian statehood. Is it time for the U.S to push Taiwan for U.N?

The U.N voted to support Palestine and it criticized the U.S for being one of 9 to vote against it.

It is clear that China and Russia run the U.N. This is thanks to years of the West self mutilating ourselves with the invisible hand of the MSS behind the scenes most certainly.

It is time to test the courage of the U.N (and the West!). It is time for the U.S to push for Taiwan statehood and recognition by the U.N. What will Fu Cong say if Taiwan desires recognition?

The West needs to wake up from its "climate change" racket that has pushed trillions into the hands of U.S enemies and a few wealthy aristocrats. World War III will be on the horizon whether we like it or not.

UN assembly approves resolution granting Palestine new rights and reviving its UN membership bid

China 'disappointed' at US veto of Palestinian full UN membership

"Today is a sad day," said Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations. "Due to the veto of the United States, Palestine's application to become a full member of the United Nations was rejected, and the Palestinian people's decades-long dream was shattered.

"The establishment of an independent state has been the long-cherished wish of the Palestinian people for generations, and formally joining the UN is a key step in this historical process," Fu said.

These Palestinian statehood votes are all the proof that one needs to see the total worthlessness of the United Nations.

There is not now, nor has there ever been a "Palestine." Its whole existence is the bastard child of global anti-Semitism.

Taiwan hasn't asked for UN membership. In fact, they are still living under the delusion that they are the legitimate government of China.

Taiwanese isn't a Nationality. You go to Tawain, they speak Mandarin, write in Hanzi, and fly the flag of China from 1911 to 1949.

There are 14.3 million Palestinians in the world. Not sure why you pretend they don't exist.

The real problem is that Israel runs an apartheid state that denies the majority a say in the country.

Then let's have a referendum in Taiwan. Hell, it can be administered by the U.N. Let Taiwan decide their own fate.

Poll after poll in Taiwan confirms that they consider themselves Taiwanese, NOT Chinese.

The official position of the US is a two state solution.

And there will be a two state solution.

Really?

Taipei, Feb. 23 (CNA) More than 80 percent of Taiwanese people want to maintain the status quo with China, with those preferring to keep Taiwan's current status indefinitely rising sharply, while those who want independence have been dropping since 2020, according to the results of a survey released on Friday.

In the survey titled "Changes in the Unification-Independence Stances of Taiwanese," National Chengchi University's Election Study Center, which has tracked the annual change in Taiwanese residents' stance on the issue from 1994-2023, said it saw increasing support for the continuation of cross-strait status quo.

The three most preferred choices in 2023 were: "maintain the status quo indefinitely" (33.2 percent), "maintain the status quo, decide at a later date" (27.9 percent) and "maintain the status quo, move toward independence" (21.5 percent), according to the Center.

The fastest way to force a full on war with China is to recognize Taiwan. I can understand that the people there fear totalitarian influence from the mainland however that is an internal issue not on international one.

That is 49.4% for some alternative other than the status quo. What of the other 20%? A desire for independence perhaps?

Most people in Taiwan see themselves as primarily Taiwanese; few say they’re primarily Chinese

While the Chinese government views Taiwan as a breakaway province, only 3% of people in Taiwan think of themselves as primarily Chinese
