Xi blew off Biden and most of the media are ... Yeah, covering it up, ignoring it.

The MSM is un-American.

“He who tied the bell to the tiger must take it off” and “It takes two hands to clap.” With these simple dictums, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday rejected US President Joe Biden's efforts to pressure Beijing into abandoning Russia on the Ukraine issue, while implicitly blaming Washington and its Nato allies for the crisis.

The two aphorisms were cited in a 1030-word Chinese foreign ministry statement on a video call between the two leaders that was an unalloyed take-down of US policies on both the Russia and China fronts. While nearly half the statement dealt with Beijing's unhappiness about what it sees as Washington's shifting sentiment on Taiwan, China also pushed back at the western narrative on blaming only Russia for the crisis, flagging the need to address Russia's security concerns vis-a-vis NATO, which is the prime rationale advanced by Moscow for its action against Ukraine.

"All sides need to jointly support Russia and Ukraine in having dialogue and negotiation that will produce results and lead to peace. The US and NATO should also have a dialogue with Russia to address the crux of the Ukraine crisis and ease the security concerns of both Russia and Ukraine," the Chinese statement said.

Both in its censorious tone and length, the statement offered a sharp contrast to the White House's brief 165-word readout on the call which said "President Biden detailed our efforts to prevent and then respond to the invasion, including by imposing costs on Russia."

"He (Biden) described the implications and consequences if China provides material support to Russia as it conducts brutal attacks against Ukrainian cities and civilians," the White House statement said, without elaborating on what consequences China would suffer.

In an apparent rebuff to this threat, which was aired by Washington even before the talks, the Chinese statement cautioned that "sweeping and indiscriminate sanctions would only make the people suffer."

"If further escalated, they could trigger serious crises in global economy and trade, finance, energy, food, and industrial and supply chains, crippling the already languishing world economy and causing irrevocable losses," it warned.

"The more complex the situation, the greater the need to remain cool-headed and rational. Whatever the circumstances, there is always a need for political courage to create space for peace and leave room for a political settlement," the statement added, going out to quote the two "Chinese sayings" which are actually quite universal.

The statement then lectured the US saying, "an enduring solution would be for major countries to respect each other, reject the Cold War mentality, refrain from bloc confrontation, and build step by step a balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture for the region and for the world," even as it positioned China as a major player on equal footing with the US.

"As permanent members of the UN Security Council and the world’s two leading economies, China and the US must not only guide their relations forward along the right track but also shoulder their share of international responsibilities and work for world peace and tranquillity," the statement said, implicitly invoking a G-2 scenario.

He who says "he should remove it" can go fuck himself in the ass and lose all trade with he who tied the bell.

He who tied it can also start arming he who absolutely BUTT FUCKED he who says "he should remove it" during WWII.

We have been betrayed by both parties and the people in the media.... We have crooks in both houses and the FBI does nothing but target us.... the people that pay their salary....
If someone doesn't stand up and fix this broken hot mess in Washington... we will pay a severe price one day....
You libs had better take a good look at what's happening in the Ukraine...look at those pictures... That is what can and will happen here... on your street in your town.... if we don't stop with the woke and weak lead from behind bullshit....

Fuck China and Fuck Russia...and fucking Iran too...bring it on...maybe its time we do this let's get it on.... that is the attitude we need in the white house..... less than that and you get pushed around by a dirty Russian gangster and a China man mass murderer.....
They intend to take us down anyway...........Might as well fuck up Russia first on the way.

If we had a real leader in the white house we wouldn't be here and wouldn't need to fight to win....
This would be a whole different world right now if Trump were still in the white house.... one man.... one stolen election away from global devastation... unreal.... and no one in Washington or the state houses will speak up and do what's right.... undo the last illegally held election and run it again.... Trump vs sleepy Joe....

Whatever Trump would have been doing on this situation one thing is certain. He would be doing it alone.

We are the number one consumer block in the world. If we blocked all Chinese imports into the US, those former American companies would be knocking on our doors and China would change their tune without firing a shot.

I can see how gullible people and the Chinese would be fooled by this (yes, that includes our cult).

This is propaganda meant for the Chinese people. Any foreign rubes they fool are just bonus gravy.

meanwhile, in reality, China is so far meeting all of the US requests of them.

Kung flu from the wet bat.

China is going to win, I've accepted this. Trump was the wildcard, but he and his policies will always be squashed. Even some of Trumps policies which Biden is trying to support are facing swift resistance and/or no support.

Just as I experienced the human right abuses in Canada but was told too often that "China is our enemy", I've come to the conclusion that sadly, at least in Canada, our own authoriites, broadly defined in my experiences, are the worst of the lot.

Foreign governments and businesses simply exploit these people while scavenging our best talent.

Our nations standard of living, competitiveness and future sustainability pay the steepest price.

China is our adversary, and it is run by cruel authoritarians, but we still rely on it economically.

As the orange pile of shit found out when he got his ass handed to him in his little vanity trade war.

Can't say I am thrilled with it. Got to admit, though, that was a pretty stylish answer in anybody's book. Kind of like you saw in fortune cookies years ago, before they became utter bullsh#t with lotto numbers on the back, to try.

Maybe it's CHY NAH that should listen to an old Tom Clancy aphorism:
