OP’s report mentions Wuhan Hospital, though there is another suspect hospital. As the intercept at Hooper’s page does detail some of the research, it’s way too late in time to understand the truer history of SARS-CoV-2. There is also a second market of interest: the nasty Kunming Flower and Animal Market, which is much closer to SARS-CoV-2’s closest relative, bat-coronavirus RaTG13. From the same mine that came RaTG13, so too did the sick copper miners who then went into the hospital at Kunming on the day that Fau Chi published his senate testimony on influenza research (Dual Use Research of Concern: Balancing Benefits and Risks). Collected on 18 Ap 2011, near Kunming (precisely, at Lat.24.67 N Long. 102.60 E), was the virus, RsSHC014. Ralph Baric (Chapel Hill, North Carolina) who has co-authored papers with Wuhan ‘bat lady’ Zheng-li Shi, wrote of this virus in 2015:
’We synthetically re-derived an infectious full-length recombinant virus and demonstrate robust viral replication in vitro and in vivo. Our work suggests a potential risk of SARS-CoV re-emergence from viruses currently circulating in bat populations.’
The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-CoV underscores the threat of cross-species transmission events leading to outbreaks in humans. Here we examine the disease potential of a SARS-like virus, SHC014-CoV, which is...

But Baric’s virus does not fit the important SARS-CoV-2 Alzheimer’s-like mutation, A222V. Three other spike positions @222 do fit, and they are all (marine sources [italics]). With no mutation, these three have a valine at position 222:
white bream (Blicca)
chinook salmon bafinivirus
fathead minnow nidovirus
This is evidence linking a marine source, and it was Zheng-li Shi who published a paper in 2006 on white spot syndrome virus of shrimp. Indeed, “Patient Zero” at Wuhan was supposedly a shrimp seller.
