The lowest monthly gain since December 2020, while job gain is trending downward amid efforts from the FED to slow labor demand in order to cool inflation. Payroll gains also only increased by 0.3% in average hourly earnings, pushing the 12-month increase to 4.2%, the lowest level since June 2021. The average work week also edged lower to 34.4 hours.
