I know it goes on, hell Smithfield here in Virginia is owned by the chi-coms....It does not make it right.....Food security is national security.
Is Smithfield Foods owned by China?
IMO?
Media Outlets, and Internet Companies is where we need regulation, and where some lines should be drawn.
Are we not even going to acknowledge that the Chinese censor their own population? Why would we assume they would allow journalistic independence?
Hell, the administration just got defeated from popular outcry, on the right, AND the left, on a government "disinformation," board. . . Homeland does tell ISP's to block user access to certain site currently in Russia. . . I can imagine, if tensions were high, it might block access to TikTok. . .
SO, if Google has stopped RT from publishing on their platform, why on Earth is the FTC even considering allowing the CCP to be able to but on the dress of an American periodical to propagandize young minds with dreck like. . . "Taiwan hates the US and wants to be part of greater China, etc."
. . . makes no sense, where IS the FTC on this?
