You missed the point and trying to frame him in a negative light. He was speaking of laws that people were arrested for speech against Muslims that the government deemed as hate speech, now we have people being arrested for posting on social media on what the government deems as false or misleading. It is dangerous to let a government control speech, this is a way they can control narratives, which favor their views and you agree with their views but what happens when a government changes and your views are then regarded as false, misleading, like what you tried to do with my son just now.

Yes, it's great that people are being thrown in prison for the crime of free speech. Quite the authoritarian regime the UK has turned into.

Even in the US this isn't "free speech". The Supreme Court ruled on the "clear and present danger" issue. Treason is also not a part of "free speech".

All rights have limitations, and free speech is no different.
