Charlie Kirk Shot and Killed at Utah Valley University

Charlie would have said this is the price of freedom. In fact he did say that as noted everywhere.
Price denotes a fair value on both sides in the event of a transaction. It's a poor choice of words.

No life is "worth it", but if you are going to have a 2nd amendment, you are going to have people who use guns to kill others. That is not a price....it's a simple reality.

This is far less worse than a school shooting. Why is everyone more worked up over a single adult when kids are gunned down regularly?
School shootings are tragic. No doubt.

That you don't see why this is worse only shows you are (1) not to bright (2) don't understand what is going on.

Don't let him get to you.

I put him on ignore. It's just heartbreaking to see how the brainwashing by people like Al Sharpton can have on the weak minded. Hard to take. He's a race-baiter and cares nothing for any other POV.

Not worth the time or anger.
He needs to be banned from this site. His racist diatribes incite violence. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of all those on the left that think conservatives need to be killed because they don't believe in the progressive agenda. That's so anti American it makes me sad. How have we come to this?

A storm of what?

Shootings? Like the Democratic lawmakers killed in June? Like the guy who killed a cop at the CDC?

Like that?

Probably not. Not really our style.

But we do need a strong response. Massive purges from all institutions of normal life, would be a nice START.

One of two school shootings today.

Well, maybe more Americans will care about school shootings, now.

just an FYI in case you aren't familiar with that phrase:

The term "Connecticut effect" was used by an NRA lobbyist in the context of gun violence, referring to the temporary public outcry after a mass shooting in Connecticut, like the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Senator Richard Blumenthal condemned this view, stating it was an offensive and "callous" way to refer to the loss of 20 children and 6 educators, asserting that the deep pain and calls for action following such events would not simply "wear off".

Your support of this murder is

A. you being a vile person

and

B. A sign that all good people need to pay attention to, and to judge you and your accordingly.
I didnt support anything other than a reduction in guns clearly in my post. You cry like a *****.

You're delusional. A man was assassinated on a college campus. Pain was taken by the assassin to get to his target.

Only time will tell why the assassin killed him. But I will note your obvious attempts to downplay the severity of this incident.

You are correct, but you should back up your statements with a link.

"FOX13 Salt Lake City reports an official from UVU tells them the university has surveillance video of the shooter leaving campus....

The shooter has not been arrested. A suspect was in custody after the shooting, but the university says that person was determined not to be the shooter."
If I am correct I don't need a link.

Your shit talk is irrelevant. We need to rememberr this, every time you fucktards ask for mercy or even talk shit about...

well really anything. We need to remember that you are nothign but vile scum of the earth and purge you from society accordingly.

AI is our new Snopes.com.

Yea, no one cares what AI has to say about pretty much anything.
So, you see no controversial speech. Fine Opinions vary.
Personally, I had no major problem with Kirk, and abhor the senseless violence that end his relatively young life, (younger than my twins) even if I disagreed at times with what he supported. Of course, I am not the type to be swayed to violence by the mere words of somebody supporting what I, do not.

But, it cannot be denied, those people are out there. They are out there on the fringes of the left and right, (as Gabby Gifford can attest to) the two areas of society attacked as less than human, at times. People on the right and left pay little attention to how they incite, or how nut balls on the opposite side might take their attacks. People who wish to be leaders, must learn how to express themselves in other than attack mode, and if speaking in public, should consider, security. I say this, because grief, along with thoughts and prayers, do little, and think the two sides should tone down their rhetoric, if not for the good of the country, than with some thoughts of personal safety, or at least thoughts of security arrangements.

Hard to guess on this one, isnt it?

That’s pretty much what he said too. It’s just pretty easy to say that when it’s just some random kid killed. Right wingers seem to be taking this harder. I am not sure what can be done anyway other than thoughts and prayers. Bottle is out of the genie. Guns are everywhere. Just takes a right wing or left wing nut to shoot someone.
