Anyone in the United States who assassinates a political figure has committed a particularly dark and heinous "political sin".

An offense against the good working order of our Republic and the People; antithetical to sane, respectful political dialogue.

On the broader American public stage Kirk was a Superstar and your Minnesota politician was a relatively obscure 'nobody'.

But anyone doing such murder deserves to be executed... hanged like dogs... including the murderer of your Minnesota Nobody.
