Well, it's an interesting question. I think PC may have a kernal. Did Obama early on get a pass on stuff like Ayers and his bogus housing deal with Rezko? Did the MSM bend over backwards to not derail the first real candidacy by a black guy?

We now know that Obama, while an elitist, is no socialist in terms of Wall St, and he's killed more al queda terrorists that his predecessor, while losing a lot less Americans in the process. And, there is a racist component to the AWG meme. On the other hand, expanding medicaid and not cutting back on SNAP now that jobs are more plentiful ..... there's stuff conservavtives have good reason to oppose.

Kerry got swiftboated, but he flipped and flopped on Vietnam. Mitt got hammered, but he wasn't misquoted on 47%. The MSM has not really back tracked on telling people "ya know, in retrospect, Obama didn't do anything wrong on benghanzi or the iRS, really." Instead, they've left him permanently damaged politically.

And Jake has a point that the MSM didn't really call out W in 2000 for flat out not answering live questions for the last month.
