Changes needed in DC… NOW!!!!!

Of course Washington come out of the half, and returns a kickoff that should have been downed, then goes backwards thanks to penalties. End up punting from inside their own 20. NOT A GOOD START TO THE HALF!!!

After giving up a field goal Jayden Daniels goes out and turns the ball over via INTERCEPTION!!! These Motherfuckers are TRYING to lose this game!!! Tennessee gets another field goal making it 28-13 and a two score game.

FINALLY Washington drags its head out of its ass and puts the ball in the EndZone again for a 35-13 lead let’s see if the defense has finally decided to shop up for the second half of the game.

Tennessee goes three and out. Washingtdrices down to the Titans 25 then takes a sack and misses another field goal, giving Tennessee the ball outside the 40z PUNT THE FUCKING BALL!!!! YOUR KICKER SUCKS!!!!! PUNT!!!!

Of course the Titans march right down the field, helped by a pass interference penalty and score a TOUCHDOWN!!! Thankfully the two-point conversion fails. 35-19 with 7 minutes remaining in the game.

Washington again separated it helmet from its backside and drives down the field for a 7 yard touchdown run making the score 42-19 with 3:31 left and Tennessee out of their timeouts. Let’s see if Washington can crush any hopes Tennessee might have for a comeback.

Tennessee formed nowhere after the kickoff, turning the ball over to Washington in Downs with 2:39 left in the fourth quarter.

PATHETIC Washington team runs the clock out rather than attempting to score. 42-19 final.

WOW!!!!! At HINE against a division opponent, with the potential to guarantee yourself a playoff spot and deprive your opponent of a division championship and you turn the ball over on your first TWO possessions…. GAME OVER before half the folks get settled into their seats. Pathetic. Disgusting.

Time to blow it up and start over from scratch AGAIN!!!!

Major changes and upgrades still required in DC.

They had their playoff lives in their own hands and fucked it up by losing to an extremely mediocre Atlanta Falcons team oin Prime Tine tonight. That makes a win in a game next week against resurgent Dallas, in the House that Jerry Built as their only way to get themselves into the playoffs. There are other scenarios with other teams losing, but backing into the playoffs like that is so passé.

Defensive staff and Quarterback are must changes. The Offensive Coordinator too, ifvnotvtgrcHesd Coach as well.

Final week of the regular season; you’re playing for playoff seeding and you can’t even find enough interest to beat the goddamn Dallas Cowboys, who have nothing to play for and are starting their #3 quarterback?

Gonna be a short playoff run.

THREE possessions and not a single first down. No running game. Multiple sacks. Time for the entire O-Line to be waived.

Can’t even properly field a punt; then takes a 15 yard penalty after giving up a field goal. Boy these assholes really don’t have any interest in winning, do they?

Failing Stimson in the playoffs….

3 first half offensive possessions. Expectation = 21 points. Reality = 10 points

4 first half defensive drives. Expectation = 0 points. Reality = 10 points.

Overall Deficiency = 21 points

TOTAL FAILURE

I saw a social media post this morning calling this team the Cardiac Commanders, with an image of an ekg strip with a wildly scribbled line on it.

That’s not a type of football that I enjoy or respect. Never has been and never will be. Nor is relying on kickers to win games for you. Better to admit your opponent is the superior team than pretend you “won” a game when in reality your opponent gave it away.

The Detroit Lions aren’t going to roll over and give Washington extra chances to score points. Field Goals aren’t going to cut it in Motor City.

Sam Howell has now proven that he isn’t the present or future for Washington at QB. The fhole franchise needs to be burned to the ground and restarted from scratch. There’s nothing on that team worth saving.

As had been suggested prior to the season, Kliff Kingsbury’s offense and Dan Quinn’s defense seem to fail miserably in the second half of games and the back half of the schedule… and Jayden Daniels will never be a superstar quarterback.
LOLLOOLLLOLL
You wanna admit you were WRONG?

They haven’t won a goddamn thing yet. I’ll give them credit for the victory over Detroit in that there was no need for last second heroics this time around but they still have to beat Philly and either Buffalo or KC over the next three weeks to make the season a success.

THEN they have to keep from losing one or both of their coordinators to a HC job elsewhere.

If you are a "Redskins" fan then as I have stated multiple times you should be ecstatic with Daniels. Your hatred for this phenom is akin to the irrational hatred of Trump. There is no logic or reason for it.

Since 1985 there have been 6 rookie QB's to make the conference championship, the last one being Purdy, and all 6 of them had a defense that was ranked no lower than 4th, and at least 3 of them were the best defense in the NFL.

The Commanders are 18th.

Good post! I didn't realize there had been that many rookie QBs make it to the conference championship. I think Daniels has a real shot because he never seems flustered about anything and has a habit of 4th quarter comebacks.

My standard for a team is the 1992 Redskins team. A team with the #1 offense and #2 defense in the league. A kicker who outscored an entire team (Indianapolis). The National defense, The Hogs, The Posse. A team that went 14-2 (should have been better than that) with an average win of more than two TDs in the regular season and then systematically dismantled Atlanta and Detroit in the playoffs before scaring the Bills so badly even before kickoff that Thurman Thomas ‘lost’ his helmet so he didn’t have to go on the field to start the game.

You mean the 1991 Redskins. The 92 Skins collapsed to 9-7. Those seasons are rare and not realistic to expect a repeat. You are changing the subject because you are clearly wrong about Jayden Daniels. You have to get over the RGIII thing. He ain't RGIII he is better runner, a better passer and smarter than RGIII ever was. And I was a big Robert Griffin fan.

Yes, 1991. That will always be my benchmark for the success or failure of a team. One of, if not the best team in NFL history. Better than the 2007 Patriots undefeated team (at least in my opinion).

It’s not just RGIII. It’s more thst two dozen QBs, how many coaches, coordinators, RBs, WRs, and front office personnel. I am NOT a big fan of the NFL post-1994 CBA. The game was destroyed by that agreement in favor of the league and money.

Well, they're in the title game. What now?
They need to win two more games to even START any conversation about a decent season. It will be a short conversation considering the number of close wins/losses rather than legitimate defeats of opponents but we can have that discussion in the coming weeks
