1. CFP were too long and uninteresting.
2. Home field advantage made it a joke.
3. 12 teams is too many, 4 teams is too few.

8 teams is just right. No home field advantage. I don't care if a #9 school gets left out. They should have played better.

And use the Conference Championships as elimination games.

I'd give the top 4 slots to the 4 main conference champions, and they'd get home field for round 1. Any team that lost in a conference championship gets eliminated. So Ohio State actually would've made it, and give them credit, they beat
