Center right needs to be Biden Republicans

Well said piece about the only real choice for normal Republicans... become Biden Republicans.

The GOP can’t be saved. Center-right voters need to become Biden Republicans.

Most Republicans don’t care that Trump locked up children, cozied up to white supremacists, tear-gassed peaceful protesters, benefited from Russian help in both of his campaigns, egregiously mishandled the pandemic, incited a violent attack on the Capitol and even faced fraud complaints from his own donors. A new Reuters-Ipsos pollfinds [sic] that 81 percent of Republicans have a favorable impression of Trump. Wait. It gets worse: 60 percent say the 2020 election was stolen from him, only 28 percent say he is even partly to blame for the Capitol insurrection, and 55 percent say that the Capitol attack “was led by violent left-wing protestors trying to make Trump look bad.”

This is a portrait of a party that can’t be saved — at least in the foreseeable future. The GOP remains a cult of personality for the worst president in U.S. history. It has become a bastion of irrationality, conspiracy mongering, racism, nativism and anti-scientific prejudices. So what should a sane, center-right voter — someone who might have voted for the GOP in the past — do under those circumstances?

Biden has turbocharged vaccinations with better management: The seven-day average of new vaccination doses has gone from 892,399on Inauguration Day to almost 3 million today. He has boosted the economic recoverywith [sic] a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill; the unemployment rate is down to 6 percent. Now he is pushing a $2 trillion plan to rebuild our dilapidated infrastructure — something that Trump only talked about doing.

Biden is governing from the “new center,” while Republicans are increasingly catering to the far right with shrill, divisive rhetoric and antidemocratic actions such as bills to restrict voting. Under those circumstances, those of us on the center-right can’t afford a third-party flirtation. We need to become Biden Republicans.

Probably true. We do need (at least) two strong parties, though.

From what I've seen, their relationship with the Dems would be short, though. They do want regular conservatism back, not this freak show. They're not going to embrace the excesses of the Dems, particularly on the cultural side.
Your point makes sense. Unfortunately for Republicans it’s a binary choice: Crazy xenophobic party that stands for nothing except opposing democrats and culture war battles for white America on one hand. On the other a moderately liberal party that matches maybe 40% of their views.
this has more TRUTH than you can ever type:

Why, then we would be stuttering idiots wearing Depends and eating strained peas.

If Biden with his very liberal agenda, is worthy of center/right Americans, then this country truly is over!!

The idea that any American who would identify even slightly to the right would support what this POS and his inner circle want to do to transform this nation is insane.

Why would any Republican with sense, vote for a man who cannot shit his diaper and answer an off the cuff question at the same time?

The man is a fraud literally and figuratively and is The Left's version of the illegitimate Hitler in 1933. Corrupt, senile, and only able to read of prewritten answers, from preselected journalists, from a picture book designed for a 5th grader is the lowest bar ever set for a fraud like Faux Xiden.

He is not loyal to America and never has been. His history of graft, extortion and bribery are a testimony to how immoral and greedy this man and his family are. Literally he was illegitimately thrust in to office to sell America out to The Chinese, Iran, Russia and The Globalists, and worse yet, he hasn't a clue where he is, or what he is signing at any given moment. A trained monkey is more aware than he is. He is a hollow wooden headed marionette.

The man literally gets lost in The White House, and does not know if he is a Senator or President. He does not handle any negotiations, or any official business as he is too incompetent and dangerous. Kamel Toe Harris who is an unqualified Bimbo Jezebel is having to do Ahab's job for him.

The left may as well have rigged the election for one of the Muppets and gotten better results than they are getting out of sleepy poopy Joe.

Over and over and over. The real issue is how many people come into our nation. Over the course of our history the government opened and closed the spigot of letting people in. It gave time to make them be absorbed into the American culture. And it takes a little time. But we stopped that. Since 1965 or so. A lot of legal people every year are let in plus there may be up to 28 million illegals here. The difference from before the 1960's is that there was very little social programs and people made it on their own. Also, many had some education and job experience and trades in previous eras. That is not true now. We as a nation in real terms is in decline.

Conservatives are the center.
Democrats are unable to hide their contempt for mainstream society.
They have injected their left wing hate for average middle class Americans into thousands of movies and TV shows.
Progressives just can't understand why the people whom they loath won't vote Democrat.

Why on earth would the center right support the most extreme left administration this country has ever seen?

What's next - saying that moderate liberals should embrace the KKK?

Damn, but TDS sure does turn people retarded.

It's funny you are so stuck in a world of stereotypes.

Biden is fool and you lose the house in 2022.

Back to divided government.

Something I love.

Biden is setting out a strategy for Americas future. You are very lucky.
I wouldnt worry over much about the right. They will never go away and will eventually package their ideas into something that may get elected.

Yep, your future looks bright....dumbass.

I'm not a Republican however both Republicans and Democrats spend way too much for me to support either party.

Instead of surrendering to the Democrats, we need a third party that can be fiscally responsible.

I don't want them to. I want different ideas and we need different ideas. You can actually have a conversation with a true conservative, even if you don’t agree with them you can see their point of discussion. The tardherd, no they have proven to be unhinged loons not worthy of discussion. Only scorn and ridicule.

Huh?

I read your post out of respect.
I read it again questioning my comprehension.
I read it a third time to figure out what the problem is.

The problem is you.

That is, by far, the most partisan post I have seen on here not including the loons who post crap. Well written? Yes. Intelligent? Yes. But wow. You really have a one sided view.

Go for it.

It wont pan out well for you.

This I know.
