Imran Yousuf, a Marine who saw combat in Afghanistan and was working at Pulse as a bouncer, immediately understood the situation and acted quickly to get people out through a nearby exit.
There are other stories of heroism and it's amazing what some people did to help others in the midst of carnage. And, we cannot forget the doctors and nurses who sprang into action to care for those coming in bit by bit. Sometimes, tragedy beings out the best in people.
