CBS asked times to hold story on the tape

Supposedly CBS had asked the times to hold the story till this coming Sunday. Obvisly they didn't. So I wonder if CBS was trying to credit the tape god forbid another "gate" incident.

I seen this on the news (Fox, of course, lol) earlier. CBS wanted the Times to wait until Sunday so they could tell the story together. CBS said it was the only open time to air it and the Times said that waiting until Sunday wouldn't give the Whitehouse enough time to dispute it.
This whole thing is just making me sick! I want the election to just be over with, but that's only if Bush wins, LOL!!
