You knew right away when the OP says "76% of Americans" that we were in for another lie. It's only of people who watched, and the small minority were Dems. And only 20% of democrats polled, the rest were independent.
AND the cbs poll was only 450 people.
I dont! I want the war to stop. Trump's way, of capitulating to the WAR CRIMINAL is the WEAK and wrong way to go about it...trump is caving to all that Putin, the illegal aggressor, wants... that's just plain wrong and NOT in America's best interest. Why do you prefer war and death?
Why would CBS poll people who did not watch? You knew right away when the OP says "76% of Americans" that we were in for another lie. It's only of people who watched, and the small minority were Dems.
Impossibly faulty reasoning. So in reality, just 8.17% of Americans liked the speech.
Then you need to accept the fact the Soviets will retain some Ukrainian territory.I dont! I want the war to stop.
Something wrong with my math? Why would CBS poll people who did not watch?
Why would anyone want the opinion of someone who did not watch?
~51% of those polled were Republicans, and 76% of those responding liked it - what's that tell you?
Impossibly faulty reasoning.
Something wrong with your understanding of how polling methodology works.Something wrong with my math?
So when the OP says "76% of Americans liked Trump's speech", he's telling the truth?Something wrong with your understanding of how polling methodology works.
well, if no democrats liked it then almost every independent did if we assume all the republicans did, you can't win an election without independents, so you are hosed and before you wine about 8 percent again polls do not canvas 100 percent ever and usually a lot less then 10 percent like this one did.Something wrong with my math?
What, exactly?
As he reported the result of the poll, it is the truth every bit much any any other poll result. So when the OP says "76% of Americans liked Trump's speech", he's telling the truth?
Of course it was 76 percent of the people that watched it.....how could you have an opinion on if you liked it or not if you didn't watch it?You knew right away when the OP says "76% of Americans" that we were in for another lie. It's only of people who watched, and the small minority were Dems.
But let's run the numbers as is, shall we?
The address was watched by 36.6 million people. 76% of that group liked it. That's 27.8 million people.
There are currently about 340 million Americans.
So in reality, just 8.17% of Americans liked the speech.

He refuses to address this point.Of course it was 76 percent of the people that watched it.....how could you have an opinion on if you liked it or not if you didn't watch it?
YIKES! That’s horrible news for Democrats. And that’s on top of all the childish Democrat chants,, rants, and sign waving.
America is in the process of a total rejection of the Democrats. They have no plan, no ideas for America. That are stuck on 2016’s ORANGE MAN BAD!
one guy in the thread made a mistake and you think that helps you on the optics of what this poll says?So when the OP says "76% of Americans liked Trump's speech", he's telling the truth?
Yes or no?
According to CBS (IIRC) it was 51% Republicans 28% independents and 22% Democrats.Among those who actually watched the speech.
Gee, wonder who that would be?
math doesn't help you on the results of this poll. They sure don't like math!

Guess it was OK when Biden was doing it though, eh?Bullcrap.
What he is doing is only while he is in office. It solves NOTHING PERMANENTLY, without legislation.
That's pretty stupid.
According to CBS (IIRC) it was 51% Republicans 28% independents and 22% Democrats.
And 76% liked it.
