What you just said that I quoted is a star piece of WHY they cut the budget to nothing. A draconian measure to be sure.

The main reason is costs. The people who pay are ALWAYS at the bottom and not the top. Meaning the inspectors (lowest paid) were discharged or not replaced when quit, retired and etc but upper management kept their jobs and got a raise.

If I went out and purchased tires for my old chevy truck but spent $2,000 on them my wife would have a fit. (I would too)
And if I spent $5,000....she would never allow me to buy tires again. Especially if they needed replacing again next year.

The FDA is spending $10,000 on a set of tires that are not even lasting a year. There's a real problem here.
Yes, I need decent tires on my truck and we need an FDA. But the amount of money being spent is ridiculousness.

And so systematically and across the board this administration, and Congress Especially, is cutting budgets in a draconian fashion because they can't get to the bottom of why so much waste is going on.

And of course it's hurting.

Mostly it's hurting just corporate giants in recalls. (Nobody cares) but also people who bought the butter. Not everyone will return it or throw it away. Some will.

And it's happening across the board in EVERY department and federal program.

They are all spending $10k on a $1,200 set of tires that barely last a year. (1,200 on tires should last at least 3 years)

The census is how you determine how the district is apportioned. The census happens once every 10 years. The re-districting happens once every 10 years.

When did I say it wasn’t? Frankly given the rate in which California has been losing people we should do a check, they likely need to lose more representatives like they did in 2020

Same with NY.

As I mentioned after four years of a GOP Governor, VA has actually added some to their population, not nearly as TX, so I have no problem looking at it
