As a Catholic I am deeply offended by the fact that people who have abetted the illegal invaders have the nerve to call themselves Catholic.

And I'm grateful that my priest has the intelligence to keep politics out of his pulpit. And the trust to share his true feelings with the trusted core of his parish.

I am really re-examining my faith based philanthropy. I have never given to "Catholic Charities" but I do donate substantially to a faith based charity, so now I need to do my due diligence to assure that they do their due diligence.

Its always good to be a giver, but their due dilligence would entail not only helping with physical needs but alongside of that , one single teaching from Jesus learned and applied would make their lives 1000 x better than with just a temporary physical helping hand. Is the fix= Matt 6:33-- Keep on seeking first the kingdom and his( YHVH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these will be added to you( sustenance, covering, spirituality) By not teaching that super important teaching alongside the temp fix, they fail to give them the permanent fix-Why?
