As a Catholic I am deeply offended by the fact that people who have abetted the illegal invaders have the nerve to call themselves Catholic.

And I'm grateful that my priest has the intelligence to keep politics out of his pulpit. And the trust to share his true feelings with the trusted core of his parish.

I am really re-examining my faith based philanthropy. I have never given to "Catholic Charities" but I do donate substantially to a faith based charity, so now I need to do my due diligence to assure that they do their due diligence.

Why are you apologizing? The Constitution protects all people living in the United States, regardless of immigration status. The advice they are offering is good and sound. Everyone should know and understand their rights. When dealing with government officials I can't think of better advice than to ask am I being detained and if they say yes to keep silent.
