I am not spreading gossip, I am suggesting that not providing a cause of death, especially post-covid and someone dies unexpectedly (at least to the fans), it opens up the door to these conspiracies. Exacerbates them really.Explain what was false
In addition to that sentiment I reiterated that there was a time in which how someone died was publicly known. "Robin Williams committed suicide", "Chris Cornell committed suicide", "Joan Rivers died during an operation". "Prince ODed, found in his elevator" Ditto for Michael Jackson.
All of the above I remember for whatever reason among others that were publicly known. All of them I am sure prior to covid.
Thus, if we stopped providing this (and I agree, families arent under any obligation but it has been standard for celebrities for years) in the post-covid years, it adds a layer of suspicion.
I knew of someone who died of a heart defect and he was an athlete, this was well before covid so I understand it happens, I wont attribute all deaths to covid. In fact, in terms of heart issues, I am inclined to suspect refined carbs, alcohol, smoking etc prior to any other explanation.
The statement remains true. If they said "she died peacefully in her sleep", it would raise suspicions. Or, "a suspected accidental overdose".
You can say "stop being nosey" or what have you, but the standard has been altered. Without any explanation, what do you think this opens the door to? I said the same of the JFK files. Does keeping it secret fuel or starve conspiracy theories?
