Cash for Guns

Or he could be buying them to sell out of his trunk to inner city thugs, or maybe cartels. A legit dealer doesn't usually do street transactions.

.

It's all irrelevant now. In 2024, Joe Biden declared that federal background check fraud is not a crime worth prosecuting, when he pardoned his son Hunter for his conviction for lying on federal form 4473.

Who are we to question that wisdom?

Not for NEW HANDGUNS that are on an FFL’s Books ( All states have BGC for New handguns )
NEW handguns can only be shipped to an FFL period. So, my point stands.

Yes and at an Idaho or Montana Gun Show a New Handgun on an FFL’s Books need a BGC for buyer ( unless FFL is buyer him/ herself )

You know are probably people bringing him stolen guns for cash.

It could even be an undercover operation. Somebody brings a gun to sell, the buyer checks the numbers and finds out it's stolen, apprehension team appears from nowhere and off to the pokey they go.

Stolen guns would bring a better price on the black market.

I hate to skunk my own thread, but there was no guy parked there buying guns. The sign was put out early and was referring to the upcoming gun show. The guy sitting in his car was just parked there because it was a public park.

Duhh. :laughing0301:

A guy buying guns in a parking lot isn't the black market?
No. Not any more than a guy buying a motorcycle, or a truck, or an ATV, or a lawnmower in a parking lot is "the black market." I met a guy at a Home Depot to sell a trailer.

Firearms are a common target for burglars. Do they check the serial numbers to return them to the rightful owner if they are listed as stolen? If not you are doing a disservice to the public when you think you are doing the right thing.

You have the Right to bear arms.....but you do not have the Right to Sell, Trade or Buy arms...or ammo.
That's how the Left will get around the Constitution.

It's easy to check whether a firearm has been stolen, just take it to your local sheriff's dept and have them run it. Every used gun I own has been checked.

Apparently the stolen goods that rightfully and morally could have protected a family are destroyed because returning a stolen firearm doesn't fit the liberal narrative.
