CARVILLE: So I want to talk to Chief Justice Roberts, Justice Alito, Justice Barrett, Justice Kavanaugh, Justice Gorsuch. I might be forgetting one. I'm going to tell you what's going to happen.

A Democrat is going to be elected in 2028. You know that, I know that. It's going to be a Democratic House.

It's going to be a Democratic Senate. The Democratic president is going to announce a special transition advisory committee on the reform of the Supreme Court that we could have our third branch of government has lost the faith and trust of the American people. And his president is going to do everything in the law.

He's going to point a blue ribbon, maybe Judge Ludick and the dean of the, you know, just the usual ******* suspects. All right. And they're going to recommend that the number of Supreme Court justices go from nine to 13.

That's going to happen, people. That's going to happen to you. They're going to win.

They're going to do some blue ribbon panel of distinguished jurists. And they are going to recommend 13 and a Democratic Senate and House. They're going to pass it.

And the Democratic president is going to sign it because they have to do an intervention so we can have a Supreme Court that the American people trust again. So just keep that in the back of your mind. And I would bet a lot of money that that's what's going to happen.

LOL....Given his track record of late no matter what it is, if Carville says it, democrats do something else. I guess that's a good thing.

That said, it does speak to one glaring fact.....The dems don't care who they put on the ticket in '28 because they think money and the MSM will make all the difference.

I take that threat seriously too. Carville is a fruitcake but he ain't lying about what the democrats might do if/when they ever take control of the Congress and White House. I would like to think there would be enough moderate democrats to oppose abolishing the filibuster, the Far Left can't do shit until that happens. After all, 8 of 'em crossed the line to end the shutdown, right? So, there might be a few that won't vote the end the filibuster unless the dumbshit GOP does it for them.

Surely you realize that the democrats can propose whatever they want to, but it takes 60 votes to stop debating the bill and vote on it. Takeaway the filibuster rule and then it only takes 50%+1 to stop the debate and 50%+1 to pass it through the Senate.

I would hope that Americans of all political persuasions--R/D/I others--could come together to support a constitutional amendment permanently setting the number of justices at 9 so we can dispense with all of this periodic conjecture.

Whle we’re at it, perhaps we should also codify in the Constitution that the Senate must vote on all Presidential nominations to the high court within 90 days of a name being submitted so we don’t end up with Party bosses stopping justices from getting a vote.
