Well your leader the pope basically said if you make fun of someones mother you should expect a punch in the face. Now imagine making fun of someones god! If you truly believe in god then I would think making fun of him is a lot worse than saying something about your mama. LOL.
blas·phe·my
Most Christians curse. So Christians can get away with adultery and blasphemy?
- the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things; profane talk.
"he was detained on charges of blasphemy"

"the nuns would punish me at least three times a week for my blasphemy"
Taunting draws out an emotional response. That is why most people think it is common courtesy not to taunt and deliberately rile people. Taunt someone, and it is human nature to launch an emotional response.
However, many of us try to rise above the emotional response and make use of a more even, balanced response. We see Christ using this technique throughout his ministry.
Christians try to overcome blasphemy and adultery. An ideal for worship and love of God--and an ideal for human sexuality--are set before us. We strive to attain those ideals. We also strive to not judge those who fail (for whatever reasons) to meet the ideal. Christ advised us to avoid sin, to even avoid things that tempt us into sin.
So basically Christians can continue to use blasphemy and wack off thinking about other men's wives and they'll still go to heaven because they believe the Jesus myth? Doesn't make any sense.
If you know its wrong and yet you jack off to your neighbors wife tonight, that means you think you can get away with being an unapologetic sinner. How convenient.
