Around here, there's a show or cruise night somewhere nearly every day of the week. What about y'all?

There is sometimes, but not anything like it used to be. We called it Motorhead. The lots in the vicinity of the corner of Lewis and Alexis in Toledo, Ohio.

Even to this day people show off their classic cars there. But a while back some drunk asshole started ******* with people and the cops were called. Then the asshole shot the very young cop who responded, mortally wounding him.

Then, according to reports, the perp went back to the nearby woods and committed suicide. I hope those reports are false and what really happened was that they caught him and beat him to death.

Just imagine a future where everyone brings their classic EV cars to the car show to compare who has the most awesome batteries!

Police Officer Anthony Hussein Dia, Toledo Police Department, Ohio

Police Officer Anthony Dia was shot and killed after responding to a disturbance at a Home Depot store at 1035 West Alexis Road at about 12:30 am.

I knew the perp from when I moonlighted as a bouncer at a nearby strip club less than a mile away. I had to escort him out the door on several occasions, because when the barmaids cut him off because he was too drunk, he would get very angry.

I even gave him a ride home a couple of times because he was too inebriated to drive and we just wanted him out of the establishment immediately and didn't want to babysit him while waiting for a cab. He was disturbing the staff and the clientele.
