Nope, I am pretty sure it is just a super modified version of the boxer 4 engine used in the WRX.

I love watching these videos. Simply amazing drivers and the technology in these cars is incredible.
The engineers who figure out the physics and build the ramps and give the speeds necessary at take off have more to do with he success of the stunts than the car
