Trump threatens to pull Republican convention out of North Carolina
President Donald Trump began a solemn Memorial Day railing against North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat, ahead of the 2020 Republican National Convention, threatening to pull it out of Charlotte, where the convention is expected to be held August 24 to 27.

This is potentially great news for the people of North Carolina. I think that most of us have been hoping the City of Charlotte would find a way to void the contract and tell Trump and Company to get lost. The great city does not need it's reputation tarnished by a bunch of seriously misguided retards taking over the city in late August.
Governor Cooper is concerned with keeping our citizens safe from the Trump virus; all Trump wants is the maximum number of people cheering wildly and waving flags in his honor. Let's hope he keeps his promise to pull the convention.
