If Trump stays serious about sanctions then all Canada's trade relations with the US can and will be diversified by awarding resources to China and other trading partners that are anxious to trade.. America will then need successful wars to fulfill their oil shortage, when Canada sends ours to China!

I lived at home until I got drafted at age 23 and got home from the Army and paid rent. But Mom paid for my meals, utilities, cost of the home and so on. I got annoyed with her when the rent was upped because I got a job in construction at age 19. She offered to manage my money. I agreed. She performed miracles by proving she could save my money and i was then able to enjoy a nice vacation. Was Mom wrong to charge me rent?

The Biden administration said Friday that it has finalized tariff hikes on certain Chinese-made products that the president first announced in May.

The tariff rate will go up to 100% on electric vehicles, to 50% on solar cells and to 25% on electrical vehicle batteries, critical minerals, steel, aluminum, face masks and ship-to-shore cranes beginning September 27, according to the US Trade Representative’s Office.

Tariff hikes on other products, including semiconductor chips, are set to take effect over the next two years.
