Maybe Americans will possess a more clear-eyed view of Canada, and especially Ontario; during our "handling" of a simple tariff. Gretzky has been in the wine business for decades and never had an issue.
You see, the caste system that destroys our best and brightest or forces them to leave are angry that they cannot bully Trump, can't get their way as they usually do. So they will lash out at any and all people in his sphere, from Wayne to just a simple person who agrees with Trumps policies, or, who likes America. They hurt Gretzky via underhanded communist tactics but don't say a word when literally 1000s of Canadian top talent leave for the U.S, many of the kids of wealthy elite. That's palatable in their estimation because to stop them (which the Ontario government raised the issue of possibly doing a few years back by the way) would expose who we really are.
When Europe was not agreeing to sign the CETA and it appeared talks had broken off, then Minister Freeland literally cried when walking and European/Canadian reporters were walking with her. She cried like a little child who didn't get their way and shortly after Europe capitulated, not that they buy anything from us.
If it isn't keeping the young and poor in their caste or violating them in disgusting ways, they are de-banking people. "Icing" them out of careers and opportunity. Misrepresenting them to allies. In this case, a simple communist-style denial of something due to a regulation.

Gretzky, 64, who was pictured at Trump’s inauguration in January and was spotted wearing a MAGA cap at his election night party last year, has remained silent despite the president's on-and-off-again trade war and repeated calls to make the country the 51st U.S. state.
Fans of the Great One have taken to social media to share their disdain and have even started a petition to rename Wayne Gretzky Drive in Edmonton – which garnered more than 13,300 signatures by Thursday.
The president in turn rushed to Gretzksy’s defense and called him a “fantastic guy” in a Truth Social post late last month.
Now, pictures have circulated on Reddit appearing to show that Gretzky’s wine range has been targeted in at least one liquor store in Toronto.
