Canada, Greenland, Panama Canal, Gulf of "America," and Mt. McKinley

Space Force Base....why don't you read the thread before posting?
There was no mention until after I read the rest of the thread. I commented when you made an error or omission. I don't read the whole freaking thread before I correct you. Sometimes, I will go back and delete my comment, but you didn't even let me get that far.

Error? I do believe there would be a difference between a military base and a space force base.
Trump wants us to increase our presence before China or Russia does.

By the way...the "whole freaking thread" was just 2 freaking pages.

Debate over annexing Canada is nothing new and always ends with Canada should be Canada, independent and free. People were talking about that back in the 1970s and there were how many actual wars to take Canada way back in the US's founding and early years, all of those conflicts somehow ending unsuccessfully for the US.

Greenland is a unique situation. Trump is correct that Russia and China are very active in the region

Historically, the victors and explorers name lands and territories what they want. Since Alaska has been part of the US for over a hundred years the name of the mountain should be what the US originally called it.

The Gulf of Mexico is more problematic because it has historically (for hundreds of years) been called the Gulf of Mexico. Actually surprising, given the US's earlier belief in Manifest Destiny, that no one thought to rename it Gulf of America back then, especially since with the admittance of Texas and Florida into the union the Gulf of Mexico essentially, and geographically, became a US lake, which would make the term "Gulf of America" rather fitting.
Gulf of the America's sounds šŸ‘Œ to me..

Greenland is a unique situation. Trump is correct that Russia and China are very active in the region. There at least needs to be more US military presence in and around Greenland.

Trump is also correct regarding the Panama Canal. Both Greenland and the Panama Canal are access points that can lead to more trouble for America in the future if nothing is done right now.

Regarding Denali, or Mt. McKinley. Historically, the victors and explorers name lands and territories what they want. Since Alaska has been part of the US for over a hundred years the name of the mountain should be what the US originally called it.

You just said that.

That would mean I would have to assess every thread link before posting. Sorry! Not interested. I am not responsible for errors in your statements. The Space Force base is a military base. DUH! See! I caught another one for you!

As to the reasoning, spot on! Carry on Miester. I will be in the area all day!
