Canada dumps the US

Indeed, if a nation doesn't allow free speech, access to justice, the pursuit of happiness, due process, fair competition and the freedom to innovate and compete.

Just what type of nation is that?
The America tRumplings want.

Good luck with that. The US is the golden goose. Canada knows it. Mexico knows it, except Democrats. Everybody knows it. Both of those countries will ultimately reach trade agreements with the US that was better for us that it was before, but still beneficial to them. Mark it down. Save the quote .You guys are just horrible negotiators with ZERO backbone who are unable to stick to your guns because you are wimps and scared.
What was so bad about the trade deal with Canada before?

The US has a trade SURPLUS with us. I don't mind the Iron and Ali getting nicked, but when China banned our Lobsters that was a bit much. Mind you, they increased in supply and the price DROPPED BIGLY!! It was great!!! Same with our wines, fruit, etc etc. We get Cali Oranges, cherries and other stuff in our off seasons...usually at high prices. So I'll go local; no biggie. We always ate seasonal tucker anyway when I was younger. But a weak US Economy is in No-ones' interests. You go you good things!!! But that Canadian guy is an idiot; they have so much to lose!!! (The Political ass; not the Shocker)

BTW; the tools I get are Milwaukee and AEG; both owned by the Yankees. As good as any!!

Now if the Yanks ban our beef then that's an issue; it will mean our prices locally DROP due to increased supply. Yum Yum!!!!

And if our lefty swine Gov puts a tariff on AEG and Milwaukee then every tradie in the country will REVOLT!!! (Election in five weeks; hopefully they'll be gone and we'll get in some sensible conservatives.)

I am all FOR Trump's Tariff Policies. They are very much needed against those who are only cheaper because of slave wages, commy Industry laws and terror state police visits!!!
Milwaukee has plants in China, Viet Nam, and Mexico, just so you know.

And to absolutely no surprise, China takes advantage of American stupidity and jumps into the growing global finance void with both feet:

All of us with functioning brains have been warning that this was gonna happen since the beginning.

Thank goodness for the millions of de Crappy Clones .

Trumpfy relies on Gullibles like you when he decides to Deflect and Divert .

The irony is that a minor Troll Bot like you , Crapper , is doing exactly what clever old Trumpfy wants you to do.

Crapper has become an unwitting MAGA activist .
Holy crap you're stupid.

Why would you say that?

They stuck with us through thick and thin for literally centuries until our government turned on them like some sort of rabid animal.

How can you say that? Canada has taken American whiskey and other products off of their shelves of their government owned liquor stores, to spite American workers. It isn't the US government that is being attacked, its distillery workers in places like Tennessee and Kentucky that the Canadians are trying to starve out.

Just because they want more money.

That's not the act of a friend.

The funny thing is that you guys seem to think that money is the only thing that matters, that it is eternal, and that being rich somehow means nothing has consequences. Something I get considering who you voted for.

Here's reality. The US is NOT the world biggest economy anymore. They are the second biggest. The way the US managed to keep their relative power the greatest is by having a wide network of allies that walk in lockstep with them for historical and ideological reasons.

Trump is shifting that paradigm. Something that can and will have consequences FAR beyond anything you or me can imagining.

What do you think happens when the US bond market collapses? Or what happens if the US succeeds in pissing everyone of so badly that the Chinese look reasonable? What happens when Canada says. "You know all this energy you are getting. Well fuck you?"
What happens when tourism collapses on account that people in countries that it's unpatriotic to help the US economy?

What do you think happens when any trade agreement the US establishes is deemed not the paper it was written on?

At the moment even IF these countries the US is attacking surrender, know this. They WILL look for a way to disengage from the American market wherever possible for a very long time. And they moment they can, you and the rest of the US have slaughtered "the golden goose" on the alter of the Orange God King.
tRumplings aren't smart enough or imaginative enough to see future consequences as a problem. To them the world only exists as a "now".

It's like you kids can't even see the part of the post you don't like.

tRump put us there.
Decades ago, we did that. We would not have 500-pound obese people on small tractors ramming into Tesla's. Sadly, we have working slaves more educated than us and in China making our products. So many Americans who are spoiled and would die in a third world nation think their shit does not stink.

trump has succeeded in doing something many thought was impossible. He has angered the Canadians. No, not just angered, he has infuriated them. Some of the most peaceful, easygoing people on the planet are hopping mad. Our closest trading partner is bailing.

There will be many consequences, none of them good.

Mark Carney is more a symptom of the problem the world's population has, than Trump is IMO.

. . . but TBH, the global elites need both of them to implement the Hegelian Dialectic.
