Looks like a Spiny Lizard but it's hard to tell with the pictures. Definitely not a Whiptail.Sorry, no. Definitely NOT a gecko as the color is all wrong and Joe's lizard has eyelids. Geckos have none, they don't blink.

That's not a Gecko, it's a Spiny Lizard.If it's small it's a Gecko. We have dozens in our yard.

I see that you guys still have as much trouble staying on topic as ever. That looney lamebrain looks like that doofus Dick Durbin.
I'm not too worried about Scooter. He's fast and welcome to the cat-free sanctuary that is my back yard. At least for now.You may have a point there. Our indoor cat came across a mouse on the kitchen floor two nights ago. She MOANED with pleasure. I told her she was a good, good cat and I would back her up in any decision. I don't think that decision was a real problem for her, no ---- After watching the airborne mouse for awhile, I went in the living room and shut all the doors so I wouldn't hear anymore leaping about. She left the mouse as her contribution to breakfast. I felt that was a nice thought.
Yeah, I'm not sure about that - I think he might be growing and shedding. The head looks like a striped lizard, but the body isn't striped. Weird.
That has GOT to be rough...No it's a horny lizard.
