I take sides based on the issue at hand but mostly I avoid talking politics all that much.

When with a group of friends and partisan politics comes up, I have no interest in participation. Especially in matters I consider "inside the beltway" silliness. It's like this message board where the vast majority of political topics I don't consider as my concern.

However, if an item of interest is on the table, I'll join in and take part.

At least on this message board. As a lot of you guys seemed to have softened up to the point where I don't know you anymore and a lot of you have turned on me because of it. I get that a lot of you want peace and believe me I do too, but I also want to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and that's never going to happen. I'm sorry but I just really don't get it with a lot of you how a lot of you keep talking about unity and completely disowning me because I don't want it anymore.



Why would I want unity with a party that wants to silence you because they dislike what you have to...

A lot of people don't come on here to debate, to have a conversation. They come on here for entertainment or to push their own views.

They're not interested in that debate.

People who are, will generally find that the truth is pretty much center, politically. But people find that boring.

I'm not extreme. Most Americans are not extremists. I am part of the middle of the road type. The only "extreme" view I might have is that Black people should recieve reparations for slavery and racism.

Well, I don't believe that should happen. Any money for "reparations" should go into changing society so they don't keep with huge poverty rates.

People who "stand for something" usually stand for something and refuse to accept reality, refuse to change their views when evidence suggests they're wrong.

However I stand for Proportional Representation, mostly because nobody has ever been able to tell me I'm wrong and prove it.

Sorry to hear that. Basically trying to figure out why suddenly many Republicans finally want us all to be best friends with the demoncrats. It doesn't make any sense.
