those golden plates do not sound right ...
Why? If you give a reference concerning the Golden Plates then I may be able to give a reason that they are rightly another testament of Jesus Christ.

and the plates were in Egyptian?

how could one know?
Reformed Egyptian. There have been other archeological things found that also have reformed Egyptian writings on them. Very recently in Guatemala.

I don't know the language they were in, but I doubt Egyptian the Book of Mormon Chronicles Jews that left Jerusalem
Yes, reformed Egyptian. There is much on FairMormon.org on the subject as well as in YouTube and other places. I find much in Reels here on Facebook.

i dont know all the details of the story, but what i know sounds strange
What sounds strange? Have you read the entire Book of Mormon? Actually, two words works better, a MARVELLOUS work and a WONDER. Isaiah 29:11-14, "And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precepts of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a MARVELLOUS WORK among this people, even a MARVELLOUS WORK and a WONDER: For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid."
In verse 18 it reads, "And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness." And, in verse 24, "They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall LEARN DOCTRINE."

those golden plates must have been too heavy to carry around
They were heavy. But not too heavy to carry around. Here is an interesting thing I found about it would only have taken 21-31 golden plates, not too heavy.

Jesus' crucifixion represented a profound spiritual sacrifice and overcoming of illusion, not a literal death, but a symbol of the victory of divine truth over earthly limitations. His teachings emphasize that the "resurrection" signifies the immortality of the soul and a path to spiritual rebirth for humanity, not just a physical return to life.
