Someone in another country could take isolated incidents that happen in this country, and say that we are not civilized. I’ve traveled to Saudi Arabia and never saw anyone jailed or beheaded because they denied Allah.

Uncivilized? Take a foreign visitor to San Francisco or really any major city. Homeless camps under every bridge. Panhandlers on every exit ramp and on the corners. People using the streets as bathrooms. Having to lock your doors when you go to the store…

Nope.....
The Bible never endorses slavery.....just like it does not endorse polygamy.
Nor a lot of things people claim it does. It does however, understand the audience reading and the historic cultures it narrates.

Just because people in ancient times did or did not do various things associated with laws and cultures of the time periods doesn't give people today God's license or preference to do them today.

However, God does ALWAYS condemn those who pretend to be teachers but have no real personal knowledge of what the scriptures are trying to teach. The punishments are fairly harsh too....you probably will need a lawyer for a viable defense when you meet God....I got a good one on retainer if you need a referral.

The Saudi royals do not....
They have Mecca which brings about a lot of tourism each year....as well as destruction and deaths during the Hodge....ot whatever the holiday of sojourning to the site is called.

UAE is one of the most secular nation of the Muslim world....just know that the indiscretions are more like the Catholic indulgences and they get very expensive in a hurry.
