Can Bernie beat Trump?

I think most people realize what we would get from a Bernie presidency...

And a crappy economy...
But would it be worth it to rid ourselves of the Bernie supporters permanently? LOL

Before Bernie it was Ron Paul, and before Ron Paul it was Ralph Nader and before Ralph Nader it was Ross Perot, so you will have the crazy voting crowd and believe it or not I was part of those crowds...
Oh, I liked Perot. I voted for HW but out of a sense of patriotism for his service, and I grieved for Admiral Stockdale's condition. I thought Slick was a decent potus. But one shouldn't get bjs from interns. I would not have voted for him if he ran for a third term. (-:

What is your"credible proof"?

So, you want me to prove a negative? Funny...

I asked what you asked. You're not very bright.

Do you drink like most American natives? It seems so

Both of you stop arguing and here is Bloomberg words:

It is clear what Bloomberg said and he is correct no one is going to waste money on a 95 year old with cancer that can not be cured...

Then if Bloomberg contracts cancer no treatment for him, or his supporters.

Thank you

Hold on!

So in your opinion a 95 year old with late stage cancer should have treatment that will do nothing to save their life?

Get real because only a fool would waste their money that way!

Let the doctor and patient make the best decisions together. We don’t want the government rationing healthcare.

I really don't think so! I welcome any credible views to the contrary. Here is what I think:

1. If Bernie wins the democratic primary - we'll likely have four more years of Trump*.

2. If Bernie loses the democratic primary - his supporters will likely not support the winner. Trump* wins.

3. Therefore, either way, it looks good for Trump*.

4. I'm watching Bloomberg very closely.

How old are you? It's came out Bloomberg supports denying healthcare for elderly with severe health issues.

You may vote for your death

Please provide a "credible" source where Bloomberg actually said this.

It's all over the internet and our noon news today. Go look yourself and I doubt you'd find any source but far left as "credible"

You don't even know candidate's positions do you?

I've been watching CNN and MSNBC all day. I never heard what you claim.

Gee....we're all shocked.

Well like it or not, what your private insurance decides is medically necessary treatement tracks what Medicare decided.

I think we have four more years of Trump no matter who wins the Dems nomination. What the Dems need is the candidate that will bring out the most voters to vote down ballot and take back the Senate.

The country is always far better off with the Senate and the White House in different parties hands. Which has which is almost meaningless.

1) Bernie’s campaign is funded by mostly small scale donations. His campaign has had more individual donors than any campaign in American history.

2) Americans already know he is a self-identified socialist and despite this, polls of the general population show him as being the most popular of all other democrats in the race. He also has the highest favorability rating of any American politician.

3) Bloomberg is simply buying his candidacy. He isn’t competing in the early states because he knows he can just buy himself recognition. It’s perverse politics.

At 95 the government is already involved through medicare and no insurance is going to Rubber stamp a treatment for someone with late stage treatment.

They want to pay out of pocket, so be it...

It's over.

Start getting ready for 2024.

In a way, I think we might be better off to let Trump be Trump for four years. We could perhaps restore sanity in both parties.

My grandfather passed recently from advanced demintia. He passed in a home and my entire family contributed to make his last few months comfortable.

Your solution is what? Inject him to not be a burden? If so you're insane

For fuck's sake, even Obama said that about his own mother. Does anyone in their right mind want to make an old person with fatal heart disease or dementia undergo a knee replacement or oxygen thereapy? Get a grip.

My mother went through hyperbaric treatments and it extended her life by years.
But I get where you're coming from. My Mother in law got a hip replacement at 78 and never walked again.
My Grandmother broke her hip at 85 the Docs said it would be useless to try and operate because she would likely die on the table and if she managed to survive that she wouldnt be able to get through rehab.

Here's the real question- was Bernie ever really that big of a factor, or was he just a repository for Democrats who didn't like Hillary.

I think it's telling in both Iowa and NH, he's only doing half as well as he did in 2016. People might already be tiring of his schtick.

I think Bernie's chances for winning against Trump are better than any of his primary opponents, but his success in November will hinge on turnout.

If 40% of eligible voters decide to skip casting a ballot, Trump may lose the popular vote bigger than 2016 yet still "win" a second term.

There seems little doubt many elite Democrats would happily accept that outcome:

The Clinton Machine Will Do Anything to Stop Bernie Sanders

"And I think that if Bernie Sanders gets the nomination, there will be an effort to McGovern him.

"To just kind of turn him — turn this whole process into McGovern ’72, hope that Bernie Sanders gets destroyed by Donald Trump, and then wag their fingers at the left for the next 20 years until they get another Bill Clinton.

"I think that they don’t know how to stop him at this point, but they’re willing to let him be the nominee and go down to Donald Trump, because Bernie Sanders threatens their interests, and the movement behind him particularly, more than Donald Trump does."

there is a chance Trump loses, but it won’t be to Bernie Sanders. Even if Sanders gets the most votes he’s unlikely to be the nominee

More of the most ardent socialists know he’s full of shit and not a serious candidate.
